Did You Know...

... that SDC Rhythm XP has transitioned from DeLand to Dubai?

A Class winner Zunday from Skydive City
posted Nov 28th, 2013 - The A Class competition at SkyQuest 2013 between Zunday and Pyro4ic was not as much a thriller as the one between Teiwaz and SDC Accelerando in the AA Class. Zunday was expected to be the stronger team and won. However, Pyro4ic tried to make it as challenging as possible and showed serious opposition in three of the eight rounds.

Zunday came to DeLand with the original lineup, while Pyro4ic had to replace Point Grant Underland at the team's most important meet of the first complete competition season. Substitute Erica Gorski was able to help maintain the Pyro4ic performance and scoring level in the team's 7th meet this year.

However, Zunday has become too solid around the 10-average level, and it would have required a Pyro4ic charge to once again reduce the distance to the more experienced A Class team. Zunday returned to Skydive City with the gold medals and as the top team on Z-Hills 4way turf.

Steve Lefkowitz with Pyro4ic members John and Rebecca Stares
Both teams enjoyed the free engineering and coaching services that Steve Lefkowitz offered with the help of Paraclete XP. In fact, all teams in DeLand on the SkyQuest 2013 weekend benefitted from the presence of the three SDC Rhythm XP members.

JaNette Lefkowitz was not only available for her own team, SDC Accelerando, and helped with advice for others at any time. Steve Lefkowitz was available for all teams and competitors all the time - except when he filled the Point slot for Teiwaz on Saturday morning.

He was back on the ground when Gilles Dutrisac could take his slot, as he did for him and SDC Jetstream Tango at the USPA Nationals 2013. Even Rhythm's new videographer Thad Parker helped out on Saturday morning when Teiwaz was not covered. Finally, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz also handed out medals and the NSL Shugar Cup Saturday evening.

A Class awards at SkyQuest 2013
Steve Lefkowitz provided a summary for all participants when he wrapped up the meet before the awards. He also explained what kind of training programs and projects his team SDC Rhythm XP has been offering ever since they turned into full time skydivers and competitors. The most recent project is the raffle for a "4way Rhythm Day", which sounded like a lot of fun.

SDC Rhythm XP has transitioned to Dubai since last weekend, where they will represent the USA in the 4way Open Class competition of the 4th DIPC 2013. The Sun Path Products NSL News will re-connect with Rhythm in Dubai for the live coverage of the event.

SDC Rhythm XP was not eligible for medals at the USPA Nationals 2013 after finishing in 2nd place. The team's status has obviously changed in the meantime. Rhythm represents the USA in Dubai since Arizona Airspeed did not make the trip to the place where they won the gold medals at the Mondial Dubai 2012. The competition in Dubai begins on Saturday morning.
