... that the Paraclete XP 4-on-4 camp finished with an 8way mini meet?

Group briefing with Kirk Verner
posted Jan 7th, 2013 - The embedded live coverage of Paraclete XP's 4-on-4 indoor training camp for 8way fans continued on Sunday with another hour of flying time for the eight participants.

The four coaches (Golden Knights 8way world champions Brian "BK" Krause and Justin "JB" Blewitt, Kirk Verner, John D'Annunzio) completed a total of two hours of flying time on both days, as they were in the chamber with both groups. The daily hour of flying time was broken up into four sessions of 15 minutes each where the two lineups performed four different 8way competition sequences and repeated each one in the same flying session.

The second lineup followed the first one right away. Then both groups had a debriefing session together.

Team B prepares for a training round
Both groups had different training programs on Saturday. The sequences were synchronized on Sunday, and head coach Kirk Verner had his stop watch ready and the judging hat on for the debriefing of the last four sequences.

Both groups enjoyed the competitive atmosphere at the very end of the training camp, and the scores were of second nature. More importantly, both lineups showed a very impressive progression on the second day of the training camp. The videos of the training competition show that both teams did not look like 8way beginners at all.

The second video is a short NSL Talk conversation with the four coaches at the end of the camp. Kirk Verner, John D'Annunzio and Brian Krause confirmed that they have put together a very strong 8way lineup for the 2013 season. Golden Knight Justing Blewitt and his remaining seven team mates will be under pressure this year. The NSL News will follow up with more information very soon.
