Did You Know...

... that the teams from Denmark practiced Skyvan exits for their national championship?

Danish competitors enjoy the end of the meet day in DeLand
posted Apr 18th, 2009 - The 6-round competition in DeLand was completed early on Saturday. The two teams from Denmark, Sequence and Altius, will finish up with the remaining four rounds on Sunday, as they wanted to go through the whole dive pool for training purposes.

Altius had competed in the AA Class at the World Challenge 2009 and now moved up into the AAA Class where they will compete at Denmark's national championship this year. Sequence was in Bedford, as well, and the B-Team left the C-Team of the Danish project behind as it was expected.

However, Altius was probably closer than both teams may have thought, won a round, tied another one and was in striking distance, at least in the first four rounds. Sequence picked up the pace at the end of the day and actually won the total of rounds five and six even over Sebastian Tempest.

The six teams equally shared two different jump planes in DeLand. Sequence and Altius both used the Skyvan, as the NSL YouTube TV videos show. The Danish Nationals 2009 will be held from a Skyvan, and both teams used it in DeLand as much as possible. Italy's team Enigma joined the teams from Denmark in the Skyvan, as it makes it easier to simulate the right-hand pattern of jump planes in Italy. The other three teams exited from the Twinotter. The new NSL YouTube TV features the complete Round 2.

Boarding for Round 1 in DeLand

Round 1 of the FSL April meet in DeLand is already on NSL-TV

Six teams visited DeLand for the April meet of the Florida Skydiving League. The Danish project teams Sequence and Altius continue with their spring tour after attending the World Challenge 2009 in Bedford a few weeks ago. They try to keep up with Sebastian Tempest, while the new all-female lineup from Skydive City, DiZturbia collects the first meet experiences with the AAA Class dive pool.

The Italian Enigma lineup consists of four members of the former Enigma 8-way team who enjoy the 4-way event his year.

Rookie Class team DiZaster, also visiting from Skydive City, is on its way to improve the meet average of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2009 (5.1) dramatically, despite exit problems in rounds four and five.

NSL YouTube TV already offers the complete Round 1 of the meet in DeLand.
