When: June 12 – 15, 2009

Schedule:

June 12th - Practice

June 13th - 4 way FS, 2 way VFS

June 14th - 4 way FS, 2 way VFS

June 15th - 8 way FS, 4 way VFS

Video: a. All flight sessions will be recorded onto DVD by the Paraclete XP staff. b. No camera or video equipment is allowed in the flight chamber or antechamber. c. By entering the competition each competitor agrees to be filmed and they further agree to allow Paraclete XP to use the footage as they wish.

Training/Practice Flights: a. Training/Practice flights must take place before the compulsory draw. Any teams who fly after the draw but before the competition are automatically disqualified. b. Paraclete XP will provide 3 minutes of training time per registered team on Friday night, June 12, 2009.

Equipment: a. Each individual is responsible for supplying their own suitable clothing and footwear. b. Flight suits, helmets, goggles, elbow & knee pads and ear plugs may be supplied upon request on arrival, subject to availability.

Competition Officials: a. The competitors will be notified of the officials during the competitions briefing.

Registration: a. Teams may register online at www.paracletexp.com b. Registration closes June 1, 2009. c. All competition flight time is included in registration. d. Please call (910) 848-2600 for further questions.

4-Way FS Open – Intermediate – Rookie Eligibility · All members of teams should be experienced tunnel flyers. · All members of teams who are new to Paraclete XP must have been fully briefed, and have flown in the Paraclete XP tunnel before the start of the competition. (XP will provide 3 minutes of training time per registered team on Friday night, June 12, 2009.) · Team members may be of any nationality. · Team members may be of any gender. · One alternate per team may be nominated before the competition starts. · An individual may be a member of only one team per discipline, even if this is as an alternate.

Open Division – Open to all teams that would like to compete. Uses the IPC Dive Pool. (10 Rounds) · For the Open Category all 16 random formations and all 22 blocks will be used for the draw. Intermediate Division – Uses the same IPC Dive Pool as Open but supports non-professional teams. (10 Rounds) · For the Intermediate Category all 16 random formations and all 22 blocks will be used for the draw. Rookie Division – 75% of the team must have less than 500 jumps or less than 5 hours of tunnel time. This division can have one ringer per team. (6 Rounds) · For the Rookie Category all of the 16 Random formations will be used with the following Blocks for the draw: Blocks: 1,2,4,6,7,8,9,11,13,14,15,18,19,20,21,22

General Competition Rules

· All participants accept these rules as binding by registering for the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships. No departure from these rules is permitted.

· Where an unforeseen change is felt necessary to ensure the smooth running of the competition, a meeting will be held between Chief Judge, Meet Organizers and competitors.

· The 4-way FS events will consist of 10 rounds for Open and Intermediate.

· The 4-way FS Rookie Division will consist of 6 rounds.

· Each team shall be allocated 1 minute flight time to complete 35 seconds of working time.

· Open Division time starts as the team launches off the net.

· Intermediate and Rookie Divisions time starts when the first team members head and shoulders are through the door.

· Open and Intermediate Divisions will complete rounds over Saturday and Sunday, June 13 – 14, 2009.

· Rookie Division will complete all 6 rounds on Saturday, June 13, 2009.
