Did You Know...

... that nothing is impossible for three young Canadians?

Martin - Benoit - Vincent Lemay
posted Feb 19th, 2014 - The recent Sun Path Products NSL News update after the Valentines Meet 2014 mentioned that the new Evolution lineup with Katie Woods in the point slot eventually wiped out the team's previous 24.0 record average.

Tail Benoit Lemay now provided the meet videos, while his brother Vincent commented the current situation of his team. First of all, he confirmed that the oldest brother Martin has fully recovered from his shoulder surgery and is in great physical shape.

Vincent Lemay said that the 24.4 average came at the end of the winter training and approximately 280 jumps within a month. He added that the lack of serious competition at the Valentine's Meet did not bring out the best of the team yet. More and better can be expected at the upcoming Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2014.

Evolution's VFS 4way lineup at the Mondial Dubai 2012
Vincent Lemay said that the next set of training jumps at Skydive Arizona are dedicated to VFS 4way. This means that Katie Woods is going to take a break until the trip to Skydive DeLand.

Jean Christophe Oumet is the 4th Evolution member in this category. He is on camera when Evolution is training and competing in traditional 4way, and he was filming the 24.4 average last weekend. He switches into the active lineup when VFS 4way training or competition is up.

The three Lemay brothers Martin, Vincent and Benoit are still committed to compete in both events for Evolution. They did this for the first time at the Mondial Dubai 2012, where Philippe Thibodeau was in the 4th slot, and finished 4th with a 15.3 average.

Evolution's VFS 4way lineup of 2013 and 2014
Jean Christophe Oumet has trained with Evolution's VFS lineup since the beginning of the 2013 season, and the scoring average will be on a completely different level this year. In fact, the medal positions will most likely be in reach for Evolution at the world meet.

Dubai Nexus, the world's best VFS 4way team in 2013, may not come back this year, and the USA have a new national team with Arizona Arsenal. Team4speed from France is still the top contender in VFS 4way. However, Evolution might even compete for any medal position this year.

Team4speed will attend the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2014 and then travel to Florida, together with Evolution, for the outdoor showdown. It's a tough agenda for the two Evolution lineups to go after medals in both events, but nothing is impossible for the young Canadians...
