Did You Know...

... that the Bad Boys posted high indoor and outdoor scores?

Bad Boys exit
posted May 3rd, 2014 - The outdoor season opener of the 4way teams in the Czech Republic did not turn out as it was planned to be like. Zoonte and CZ Ladies, the national team in the female 4way category, both could not attend due to health problems. However, four teams posted their first outdoor scores of the 2014 season, and a new Rookie Class team has joined the 4way community in the Czech Republic.

The Czech national team in the Open Class, Bad Boys, started the 2014 season with a 14.2 average for an interesting competition draw in the AAA Class. Five of the six rounds had at least two blocks, and four had 6-point sequences, one with three blocks. Round 5 with only random formations then compensated for the slower rounds.

Impact had competed in the Rookie Class last year and used the indoor winter season to get ready for the A Class dive pool in 2014. Impact outscored Bestie round by round until the last competition jump brought both A Class teams back together for a 1-point Impact advantage.

Impact had also an important role for the Czech Indoor Cloud League group of teams who have been winning the international indoor competition each month this year.

The Hurricane Factory Chicks, Rookie Class winner at the World Challenge 2014, had posted scores for the A Class and Rookie Class sequences both. Czech League Director Jan Klapka realized later that the HF Chicks were not eligible any longer for the Rookie AAA Class after posting scores higher than 25 points two times.

The 39-pointer had to be replaced with another Rookie AAA Class score, and Impact helped out with a 20-pointer. The HF Chicks' withdrawal from this category had an impact on the leaderboard, as the 3-point lead over Florida at iFLY Orlando was not enough to maintain the top position after giving away 19 points.

Jan Klapka did not have a score for the Rookie A Class in April, and the missing points gave Florida the 1st place for the moment. Other Indoor Cloud League groups are still working on submitting scores and videos for April, while the month is over for the Czech group.

The Bad Boys once again posted the highest ICL scores for the AAA and AA Class sequences, and the 26-pointer by the HF Chicks in the A Class is also the highscore for the month of April and worth a closer look. However, Florida won the Rookie AAA Class over Impact, added seven points in the Rookie AA Class and had a score for the 6th category. That was enough to overcome the total of 99 points that the Skydive Arena collected in five of the six categories.

The Bad Boys have won each of the Indoor Cloud League sequences in the AAA and AA Class this year, and the 26-pointer by the HF Chicks matches the A Class highscore for a faster sequence (K,F,7) in March.
