The two Danish national teams, A-Team VAF Warriors and B-Team Aerodyne Steam, finished with significantly increased meet averages, compared to their performances at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2014. In fact, the 14.9 average was a new record average for the VAF Warriors, while Aerodyne Steam went from 9.9 in March in DeLand to 12.0 last weekend.
Air Rush, who had attended the World Challenge 2014 earlier this year, won the A Class competition easily with the same lineup as in Bedford.

Mathias Nord had the same slot for Norway's national team Arcteryx who posted a 22.5 average at the World Meet 2008 in Maubeuge, France. Derek Broughton was his Arcteryx team mate in the point slot.
Kjetil Nordin had competed for Norway, as well. He was on the X3M4S lineup who finished with a 15.8 average at the World Meet 2010 in Menzelinsk, Russia. Last weekend's 17.7 average was a new personal best for him. He had recently guided Airplay from Denmark into the AAA Class competition world.

The Norwegians needed help from Danish videographer Bjarke Gjadesen, and Mathias Nord is actually from Sweden. They all joined forces and helped Kjetil Nordin to win his first gold medal at the same event, after he had won silver medals two times with Airplay. The special Norwegian celebration of independence at the DFU Cup turned out to be very successful.
1814 completed nine training jumps before the competition and warmed up round by round. It was a nice coincidence that the last two sequences were the fastest ones of the meet. The 17.7 average won the AAA Class competition easily last weekend.
