Did You Know...

... that the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard for June is complete?

NWSL June group at iFLY Seattle
posted Jul 5th, 2014 - The Indoor Cloud League leaderboard for June 2014 is finally complete after the scores and videos of the Northwest Skydiving League group at iFLY Seattle have been processed and posted.

NWSL Director Deb Correia organized one hour-long event this month at iFLY Seattle, with eleven participants and four coaches (Deb Correia, Dave Correia, David Zhang, Carolyn Chow). Carolyn Chow did double-duty flying with one Rookie Class group and another one with more experienced flyers.

One of her lineups (Jeremy Eggum, Martin Fox, Steve Platt, Paul Stoddard) performed without a player coach and posted the 15-pointer for the Rookie AAA Class sequence.

Deb Correia reported from iFLY Seattle that player coach David Zhang was back in action for the first time since breaking his back in February: "It was great to have him back."

Now Carolyn Chow will be taking a break after having the hardware removed from her knee from an injury she sustained in the tunnel a couple of years ago. With a short summer in Seattle, Deb Correia expects the indoor participation to be lower in the coming months, as people spend more time jumping from planes.

Deb Correia also mentioned that Elsinore Horizon were visiting iFLY Seattle for a training camp in June, and two members contributed to iFLY Seattle's Indoor Cloud League account.

Kristian Szczepitko and Horizon's player coach John Hamilton were missing team member Sandra Van Der Bilt who was recently injured on an exit. Elsinore Horizon decided to carry on with their scheduled tunnel training session and pulled in NWSL competitors Tracy Bohm and Deb Correia to fill the open slots.

The AA and AAA Class videos and scores were submitted by the NWSL Horizon combination. Deb Dorreia said that the June sequences were flown at the end of a 4-hour Horizon training camp, when everyone was quite exhausted.

The new video features all teams and lineups who posted the highscores for the Indoor Cloud League June sequences (4Astrophe - AAA, iFLY Dallas - AA, Fire Coopers - A, iFLY Orlando - Rookie AAA, DeLand Aurai - Rookie AA, iFLY Orlando - Rookie A).
