Did You Know...

... that Paraclete XP won the first 8-way indoor competition?

posted Jun 15th, 2009 - The 4-way competition of the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championship 2009 was completed yesterday. Perris Fury tied Airspeed's highest indoor meet average in history with 29.8 after ten rounds, and the NSL News will go back to the 4-way competition soon.

The wind tunnel meet in Raeford also featured the first 8-way indoor competition, which took place today. Two high-profile teams signed up for the meet, which has already been completed. Paraclete XP and Golden Knights both did their ten rounds today and scored higher than any other 8-way team before.
Paraclete XP consists of the 4-way lineup with Tim D'Annunzio, John D'Annunzio, Andy Honigbaum, Kirk Verner, plus Thomas Hughes, Gary Beyer, Todd Hawkins and Pat McGowan.

The Golden Knights Black and Gold lineups combine for the Army's 8-way lineup (Brian Krause, Matt Davison, Sean Sweeney, Matt Accord, Larry Miller, Josh Coleman, Justin Blewitt and Michael LeRoche). In fact, 8-way is the primary project for the Golden Knights, and they split into the two 4-way lineups at times.

The scores are posted, and Airspeed and Dallas Rogue will study them carefully. These four teams will most likely compete for the three sets of Open Class medals at the USPA Nationals this year.
