The changes in the lineups of the top teams in the world initiated a discussion of the potential for a new "FS Sweep" that Solly Willimas shared with the audience on 17 October 2014. There seemed to be an opportunity for the US delegation to win all four sets of gold medals in 2016.
The audience is not convinced that the chances for a US Sweep are so great, as the first results of the current poll are showing. However, 58% of the votes support at least the possibility of a US Sweep. In the meantime, new information indicates that the stakes will once again be as high as usual at the next world meet, and no event seems to have a clear favorite.
The new 4-way world champions from Belgium also have no intention to give up the 4-way Excalibur sword without a good fight.
The leaving world champion Roy Janssen was one of the founding members in the tail slot and is a big loss for the team, as Center Outside Andy Grauwels said:
"We had a lot of fun during those years, and we like to thank Roy for being part of that journey along the road to great success, we could never have done it without him and vice versa."
However, he and his brother David Grauwels, still with point Dennis Praet, are "highly motivated to win another world championship, now with Jeroen 'Bob' Nollet on our side".

He has been an active alternate, as the team gave him several training opportunities on a regular basis, starting at the same time when Dennis Praet began with his team training. He was also in the 9-way lineup for the fun jump with Thunder right after the completion of the World Cup 2012 in Prostejov.
Then he filled Roy Janssen's tail slot at the ESL Championship a month later and posted a 21.3 average after ten rounds. Andy Grauwels said that his team was very proud of his performance: "We were amazed to see that he could score a 21.3 average in an outdoor competition with very limited training with the team."
"With the help of our coach Gary Smith and the experience that we have collected over the years, we strongly believe that we can get Jeroen very fast up to team speed, we’ve proven it in the past. For sure, it will not be an easy task for him, and he will feel a lot of pressure from inside and outside the team, but we know after many years that hard work pays off, and he has the right mentality and the physical ability to do so."
The three original Hayabusa members (Roy Janssen, Andy and David Grauwels) first had to replace Center Inside Sven Ibens at the end of the 2006 season and then Luc Verstrepen in 2008. Waedong So left the team in 2010, and Dennis Praet became the point. Now there are again three returning members who will integrate the new tail as quickly as possible.
