The Florida story featured the impressive scoring progression of AA Class team Zhills TranZend after the six meets this year. NCSL team Safeish competed in Lodi on the same weekend in the same category and also finished with the team's best meet average of the 2014 season.
Counterpoint FX and High Anxiety were actually the busiest teams in Northern California with six meets each, and Counterpoint's scoring progression in the A Class looks very similar to the one of AA Class team TranZend in Florida. Counterpoint, with NCSL Director Lori Connor in the lineup, finished with the team's highest 2014 average, as well.

High Anxiety's center inside John Verley has been guiding his A Class team through the busy 2014 season. He is a regular competitor at the USPA Nationals, where only the AA dive pool is available for teams in the Intermediate Class.
Rookie Class team Last Minute attended all of the NCSL meets but one with changing lineups. Sergei Vladimirovich and Christian Trefault were alternates at the last meet for Ido Ofir and Lukasz Weber. Christian Trefault usually flies the point slot for A Class team Dirty Low, who couldn’t make it to the final meet of the season.
Flair Flare was another new Rookie Class lineup (Kiran Shivaram, Ron Ashcraft, Thomas Gerber, Angelique Kamara), also with Jason Imamura on camera. Kiran Shivaram has participated at several NCSL outdoor and indoor events this year and joined his first pickup 4-way team at the last meet. Lori Connor said that Flair Flare was awarded as the "Judge's Choice" due to its stable albeit entertaining exits...
Jason Imamura, who has been donating his time to support the NCSL, also provided insight and encouragement for his Rookie Class teams all along the way. He has his roots in Northern California, as he was filming R4 (Julius Frank, Deanna Frank, Rob Radez, Jon Martens) when the team won the Intermediate Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2008. Julius and Deanna Frank and Rob Radez are regular NCSL coaches at iFLY SFBay and other outdoor events.
Lori Bartlett-Harness was judging the last NCSL meet, with assistance by Brian Fairhurst. She is a USPA judge with a national rating, and she is excited about 4-way competition being revived in Northern California.
The Parachute Center Inc. (Bill and Kathy Dause) sponsored the winners of the meet with one discounted 6-jump training day for $10 per jump. Pete Swan's Independent Parachute Service supported each team member with $10 off a reserve repack, and Para Gear sponsored two $25 gift certificates. The next NCSL event is the Indoor Cloud League Tunnel Kicker at iFLY SFBay on November 12th, while Lori Connor has also begun to make plans for the 2015 outdoor season.
