The VAF Warriors were selected as the national team after the Mondial Dubai 2012 and took the slot that Voluntas had in the previous years. Denmark's new national team competed for the first time at a world championship this year in Prostejov and placed 11th, missing the semifinals and Round 9 by seven points.
The scoring progression of the VAF Warriors in 2013 and 2014 has stopped the downslope of Denmark's meet averages at world cups and world meets since 2010, and another year for the VAF Warriors with the same lineup will offer the opportunity to continue increasing the Danish numbers.

The members of the old and new Danish national 4-way team are very excited to compete once again for Denmark, and they look forward to doing so in the best manner possible, as Martin Soeby Mikkelsen explained: "The goal for next year is of course to do well at the European Championships."
However, it will also be important for the VAF Warriors to focus on winning the next national championships in 2015. The winner will most likely be selected to compete for Denmark at the World Meet 2016 in the USA, and there is opposition in Denmark.
The Danish national team is also working with a new coach. The plans for the training in Europe has connected the VAF Warriors with former NMP-PCH Hayabusa member Roy Janssen who has agreed to take on the job. Solly Williams has worked with the VAF Warriors in the past two years.
The VAF Warriors are looking forward to their third season together. Martin Soeby Mikkelsen said that decisions like switching coaches and training environment is difficult and risky: "We have all had many good years in Deland, being coached by Solly. But we are all very excited and have a good feeling about our plans for the coming season."
