Did You Know...

... that Martin Lemay discussed Canopy Piloting and 4-way plans with the Sun Path Products NSL News in Z-Hills?

Rob Radez with iFLY SF Bay's AAA Class lineup
posted Nov 5th, 2014 - The November sequences for the Indoor Cloud League have been posted for a few days, while the leaderboard for October has not been fully evaluated yet.

Especially the teams and lineups who performed the AAA and AA Class sequences last month included several high-profile 4-way competitors. The Sun Path Products NSL News story on 25 October 2014 explained how SDC Rhythm XP member Mikhail Markine and XL's Brian Johnson helped the Florida group at iFLY Orlando to boost the AAA and AA Class scores.

The Czech Republic's two national teams in 4-way Open (Bad Boys) and 4-way Women (CZ Ladies) are regulars on the ICL leaderboard month by month at the Hurricane Factory in Prague, and they posted the October AAA/AA/A highscores once again despite tough opposition.

Martin Lemay with 4Astrophe
The Sun Path Products NSL News also reported earlier that USPA Advanced Class gold medalists Lucas King and Scott Levy (Dallas 350) competed for iFLY Dallas in October. Julius Frank (R4), Samer Haija (Arizona Directe) and Rob Radez (SDC Rhythm XP) posted AAA Class scores at iFLY SF Bay for Lori Connor's Northern California Skydiving League group.

Last but not least, the outdoor top competitor of October actually ended up in 3rd place with the Canadian group at SkyVenture Montreal. Martin Lemay, bronze medalist at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 in 4-way Open and VFS 4-way with Evolution, filled the AAA and AA Class slot for his 4-way Open Class team mate Katie Woods.

4Astrophe father Richard Bisson had once again his daughter Valerie, newest member of Canada's national team in 4-way Women, Fuzion, and his son Yannick in the lineup for October. It was the first time now that Martin Lemay joined the indoor team.

Swooping pond at Skydive City
Martin Lemay is also visiting Florida this week, and the Sun Path Products NSL News had an NSL Talk opportunity with him at Skydive City, where he observes the 5th World Canopy Piloting Championships and studies the meet management.

NouvelAir near Montreal, his family's home dropzone, is the host for the World Cup in Canopy Piloting next year, and Martin Lemay will organize the event on his home turf. He explained that NouvelAir has added a swooping pond to the facilities and is ready to host a high-profile competition.

Of course, it was also an opportunity for the Sun Path Products NSL News to get an Evolution update. Plans for the near future have not been made yet. Martin Lemay said that the 2014 season was planned to be over for his team after the 5th Dubai Cup. Then the team will sit down and discuss the options for the next 2-year cycle. The audience has to wait for another four weeks to hear about the Evolution future...
