posted Nov 15th, 2014 - The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 12 November 2014 that the Bad Boys would attend their 12th 4-way competition this weekend, with a good chance to take a top position at the FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving 2014.

It's not only a top position, the Czech national 4-way team is holding the 1st place in the Open Class after Round 8 and will most likely win the gold medals.

The SKYLEAGUE.COM leaderboard shows the Bad Boys only in 2nd place after combining the AAA Class teams of the 4-way Open and 4-way Women categories.

The 1st place on the combined leaderboard is in dominating possession of the same team that won the gold medals in 4-way Women at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving in Menzelinsk 2010, Aerokart Deep Blue.

The second 4-way Women team at iFLY Austin, the HF Chicks, are also standing their ground very well on the combined leaderboard.

They cannot keep up with the French world champions of 2010 and their fellow Czech 4-way competitors, the Bad Boys, with their coach Vaclav Prokes, however, they are in a very exciting 1-point battle with the French 4-way and 8-way veterans of Monaco Vitalsea.

Aerokart Deep Blue retired from active 4-way competition for the French national delegation after winning the gold medals in 2010, and two team members (Berangere Duplouy, Francoise Simons-Hamouchi) were pregnant when Deep Blue attended their last outdoor competition at the Dubai Cup in January 2011.

Amelie Tirman and Sophie Deremaux continued with the Deep Blue Defenders and won another gold medal in Dubai 2012. Then they became pregnant too and now have their own babies to complete the next Deep Blue 4-way generation.

The first reunion with the complete lineup took place at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2013 where Deep Blue defeated the future world champions French Girls (24.3 - 22.5) with their new lineup. The original Deep Blue lineup competed again at the World Challenge 2013 and won the 4-way Women competition with a 23.6 average.

This weekend, three of the original Deep Blue members are on the top of the combined leaderboard with a 25.8 average after Round 8. New French Girls member Clementine Le Bohec fills Berangere Duplouy's slot. There is no serious competition for the three French 4-way mothers and the young substitute, and they can only compare their scores with their own ones of the past years.

The 14-foot flying chamber at iFLY Austin allows only a limited dive pool, and the competition draw is on the fast side without two of the slower blocks (1,13) and 15 of the 16 random formations. Only the indoor meets at the Hurricane Factory, Bodyflight Bedford and Paraclete XP apply the complete dive pool for the competition draw. The 4-way Open and Women teams have two more rounds scheduled for tomorrow morning.
