Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features the first 8-way competition videos from Dubai?

French 8-way engineering
posted Dec 1st, 2014 - The 8-way and VFS teams added one more completed round on a day with mixed weather conditions between blue skies, clouds, wind and even rain.

The scores of Round 4, with the fastest sequence so far, did not change much on the 8-way leaderboard. Russia's Black Cat 8-way lineup tied Venturi's score for a round for the first time at the 5th Dubai International Parachuting Championship.

France still has the same 3-point lead and has performed solidly with the Dubai lineup. However, Russia and Dubai Asaar are close enough to keep French national coach Jeremie Rollett on his toes. He cannot afford a meltdown as NMP-PCH Hayabusa had it in Round 5. It is in fact a very similar situation as in 4-way Open where three top teams are close enough to each other for a good competition, and where one bad round can be costly.

Canadian card games
New after Round 4 in 8-way is the fact that the first competition videos are available now. France and Dubai Asaar provided the 8-way footage of the first four rounds.

The Sun Path Products NSL News also met with three French 8-way competitors during one of the weather hold breaks, including French national coach Jeremie Rollett who competes in his own national team this time. The video of the NSL Talk will be uploaded tomorrow.

Evolution is not under too much stress in 4-way VFS, neither as of the actual competition nor the event schedule. The VFS teams have only eight rounds on the meet agenda, and the Canadians spent a lot of time today playing cards and other games with members of their delegation...
