The 10-round competition begins with three technical sequences. Rounds 2 and 3 have even three blocks each and also bring slot switchers to the teams.
Well trained teams have the advantage in these three rounds, which may favor the busiest German top team of the 2009 season, X-Ray Remscheid. FSC Eisenach-Paratec and EADS have not trained much this year. The Chicas may also have the opportunity to keep up with Incognito Leutkirch and gain confidence after the latest defeat at the Nuggets Cup.
Especially Incognito and FSC Eisenach-Paratec have scored well with faster sequences in the past, and they will look forward to Rounds 4 and 5.
The question is how the situation will look like when it is time for the faster sequences. X-Ray Remscheid, EADS and Chicas may all have gained confidence if they manage to keep up or take a lead in the first three rounds. This could put pressure on the current national team and title defender and on the young Incognito lineup.
The answers to these question will come by the end of the day. Most likely, the faster sequences will be saved for tomorrow. There will hardly be enough time to complete the first three rounds today. The first scores will be posted soon.
