Did You Know...

... that Monkey Circus scored a new national record for a single round?

SDC Rhythm XP action
posted Aug 23rd, 2009 - The next meet videos of the Midwest Skydiving League's August meet have been uploaded.

This time, only the remaining available rounds of the two AAA Class teams, SDC Rhythm XP and SDC Furies XP, are featured on NSL-TV. Both teams completed all ten rounds of the August meet weekend.

However, only the first six rounds are now ready for reviews, plus the Furies' Round 7.

The first six rounds challenged the teams technically with slow sequences. The pace picked up significantly with a very fast second half of the competition draw, and both teams finished with team record scores.

Monkey Circus
Record scores were also posted in Austria this weekend. The current leaderboard shows the scores of the Austrian Nationals 2009. Monkey Circus, the Austrian national team of tha past years, posted the team's highest 10-round average and set a new Austrian record for a single round with the 26-pointer in Round 2 (K,J,Q,9).

Some of the Monkey Circus members are now trying to win the 8-way competition, as well. Then the Austrian national team will move across the border and compete at the FAI World Cup 2009, which begins at the end of next week in the Czech Republic. The NSL News will go back to the Austrian Nationals later.

This weekend also brings the start of the French Nationals 2009. The French national teams don't attend this competition, as they prepare for the FAI World Cup 2009, as well.
