posted Jan 29th, 2015 - The combined leaderboard of both AAA Class events (4-way Open, 4-way Women) at the Wind Games 2015 shows the three all-female teams close to each other right in the middle rankings of all 4-way teams.

The British team NFTO consisted of three Bodyflight Isis members of the 2014 season (Anna Hicks, Ane Brentford, Laura James), and 4-way Women world champion of 2003, 2006 and 2008, Claire Scott, completed the lineup. Bodyflight Isis is now probably making plans again for taking away the 4-way Women top position in the United Kingdom from Kaizen and becoming the national team for the World Meet 2016.

One member of the current national team Kaizen, Ray Ahmed, also competed at the Wind Games with SAVoA's lineup in the 4-way Open Class. Kaizen coach Pete Allum competed with Ninja4 and had former Hayabusa member Luc Verstrepen and two eX3MO members (Mario Fatorusso, Ivan Quadrio) in his lineup. His XL team mate Steve Hamilton was the player coach for SAVoA.

Home team Empuria Gatas BBD impressed with a meet average that was signigficantly higher (17.3 - 19.9) compared to last year's event at the same place. Two of the team members (Noel Carrara Arias, Clara Marfany) are also experienced 4-way outdoor competitors and have represented Spain at international events in the past.

The Hurricane Factory Chicks found themselves in an unusual situation - at the bottom of this 3-team leaderboard. The experienced indoor and outdoor competitors of the other two teams left the indoor experts behind. The HF Chicks are still in their first year of the AAA Class dive pool, which began in September 2014 with the first 10-round meet in the highest 4-way category.

The HF Chicks shocked the Rookie Class teams at the World Challenge 2014 with a 33.0 average at the team's first competition away from home. It was followed just a few days later by a 26.3 average in the A Class back at the Hurricane Factory in Prague. That was the end of the Czech indoor winter season, and the HF Chicks began to prepare for the AAA Class dive pool.

The HF Chicks then went two times through the AAA Class dive pool at 10-round meets on home turf (18.4 - 18.0) before posting a 19.0 average at the FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving. An 18.8 average followed at another 10-round meet in Prague before it was time for the next indoor competition away from home, the Wind Games 2015.

The indoor team is soon going back to the same place where it all began a year ago, the World Challenge 2015 at Bodyflight Bedford. The HF Chicks will not only compete in the AAA Class this year. The move into the the highest category also brings the separation between 4-way Open and 4-way Women at the World Challenge.

It will not become much easier for the Czech female team, as the event has drawn strong teams in this category to Bedford year by year. The Golden Knights will be out of reach, and the Belgian national 4-way team Les Stunts has become consistantly stronger at indoor and outdoor meets. The 19.0 average in Austin would have brought the 6th place in Bedford last year...
