posted Jan 30th, 2015 - The Florida group of the Indoor Cloud League had a late start into the new 2015 season. 19 participants and coaches met on Thursday night at iFLY Orlando to take on the six sequences for the month of January.

The Hurricane Factory had posted the first scores of the 2015 season on 17 January 2015 and launched the new year with a record total. It was a difficult task to challenge the Czech scores, and the Florida group was not able to match any of the earlier results.

The consistent training of the Czech teams, with the same lineups over a longer period of time, show results in many ways, compared to pickup teams and changing lineups of other Indoor Cloud League groups. The small European country with a limited number of skydivers has used their resources very efficiently under the guidance of Bad Boys and Czech Republic Skydiving League founder Jan Klapka.

The iFLY Orlando group has generated several teams, as well, who continued on their own and with different plans.

The members of the latest team project connected at the Indoor Cloud League events, as well, and have started with the 2015 training.

Flashpoint is the team name for Alix Raymond, Steve Hubbard, Jim Prochaska and Jairo Garcia, and Indoor Cloud League player coach Gilles Dutrisac will be working with the team.

Flashpoint plans to compete in the AA Class throughout the 2015 season and represent Florida at the USPA Nationals 2015 in the Intermediate Class.

The new team will post the first outdoor scores for a starting point at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015 where AA/Intermediate Class teams have their own leaderboard this time.

Three new Indoor Cloud League participants attended the iFLY Orlando event on Thursday. Sandra and Kevin Carruth were completely new to indoor skydiving. Sandra Carruth was slightly ahead of her husband with a total of two previous minutes of flying time. They ended up mastering the R Class sequence with a 20-pointer.

Jimmy Xu was a trained indoor and outdoor flyer before joining the Florida group at iFLY Orlando. His lineup (Leslie Eggenberger, John Stares, Jimmy Xu, Cathy Luo) made it to the ICL leaderboard for January and contributed 13 points for the iFLY Orlando total.

All lineups had once again their internal battles for the highest score on iFLY Orlando's ICL account. Flashpoint, with coach Gilles Dutrisac filling in for Jim Prochaska, contributed the highest number of points (51) for the ICL leaderboard.
