Sarah Ashworth, Tanya Burton, Robynne Haynes and Vikki Poulton started with an 11.3 average in the Rookie Class at the World Challenge 2013. The same lineup then posted a 17.4 average in the A Class a year later. They attended two outdoor meets and the Bodyflight Revenge in the AA Class. The ChatterChicks are now actually ready to take on the AAA Class dive pool, however, they will make the next move after the World Challenge 2015.
The ChatterChicks are another great example of UK teams who build their 4-way skills and knowledge carefully and step by step using the four categories.

Hard winter work and determination got the ChatterChicks ready early enough for their first competition, the World Challenge 2013. Due to the quick progression they were chosen by Mars to receive £300 of the Mars Milk Fund program, which helps people advancing their hobbies.
The ChatterChicks were done with just learning Random Formations soon after the World Challenge and decided to move up into the A Class. They spent the rest of the year training and competing, including tunnel time every month, and finished in a respectable 15th place out of 24 teams at their first national championships.
The team still decided to move up into the AA Class and competed in this category at the UKSL meet in Sibson and at the UK Nationals 2014. They brought up the meet average from 6.8 to 9.0 last summer and then finished the 2014 season at the Bodyflight Revenge.
Fortunately, Sarah Ashworth was back in time for the indoor competition at the end of the outdoor season, and the ChatterChicks finished with the bronze medals and a 16.9 average.

The ChatterChicks were the best all-female team on the World Challenge A Class leaderboard last year, and they also outscored the other eight British teams in the same category. Now they will try to copy the 2014 success in the AA Class in Bedford and then move up into the AAA Class for the upcoming 2015 outdoor season.
There will be tough competition in the AA Class, as well. However, the ChatterChicks' 2014 average in the A Class (17.4) would bring the team into medal contention in the AA Class, and coach Steve Hamilton knows how to bring teams to this level...
