The Danish teams had only twice the chance to get some numbers on the scoreboard, and the reigning champions, VAF Warriors, made it very clear who is the team to beat in Denmark this year. Challenger Pangaea could not even get close, and Prime Pickles did not have the event on the team schedule.
The VAF Warriors attended their first meet this year, while the challengers for the top spot in Denmark had both competed at the World Challenge 2015. All three teams will face each other at the national championships in July.

None of the two teams brought their original videographer (Anders Krabbenhøft - VAF Warriors, Bjarke Gjødesen - Pangaea) to the meet. Stefan Rosenberg filled in for the Warriors and Mette Kristensen for Pangaea.
The weather forecast was not the best, and the first meet day allowed only one round for all six teams. VAF Warriors took the lead with a 13-pointer after a point deduction. Pangaea had an unfortunate start with three busts.
Denmark's FS 4-way project has the VAF Warriors as the A-Team this year. There is no B-Team, and the federation has assigned two "talent teams" instead, Phoenix and AirRush, who both moved up from the A Class and attended their first AAA Class meet last weekend.
Both teams had a good competition in their own 2-round meet. AirRush was the stronger A Class team last year, however, Phoenix took a 1-point lead after Round 1. AirRush came back in Round 2 and finished a point ahead.

The VAF Warriors have scheduled a training camp in Spain for June and another one on home turf a few weeks later, when coach Roy Janssen will visit Denmark. Pangaea does not have a well defined training schedule yet and works on plans for an outdoor camp. Prime Pickles travel to Perris, California, for their training before the national championship. Phoenix and AirRush train in Denmark and also join forces for a tunnel camp at Bodyflight Bedford with Joey Jones.
