Did You Know...

... that iFLY Orlando added 12 points to the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard?

iFLY Orlando's Indoor Cloud League group last Thursday
posted May 26th, 2015 - The second May meeting of iFLY Orlando's Indoor Cloud League group included only a few members of the current Florida Skydiving League teams.

Two DeLand Flashpoint members were out of town, however, the complete rear piece (Jim Prochaska, Jairo Garcia) still decided to join the Indoor Cloud League event and joined forces with Sebastian Jimenez and Kurt Gaebel.

ZEUS' Inside Center Amer Kassas came to iFLY Orlando with coach Bob Byrne, as the complete ZEUS lineup was not available. They both teamed up with Sebastian Jimenez and Michael Patterson to perform three of the six May sequences.

Bob Byrne was also guiding a second lineup (Leslie Eggenberger, Cathy Luo, Adam Money) through exactly the same sequences, and it turned out that both teams were separated by only two points (71 - 69) at the end of the Indoor Cloud League night.

10 more ICL points for May: RR Class lineup
The internal battle helped iFLY Orlando's total score for the month of May, as the second lineup with former DeLand Aurai members Leslie Eggenberger and Cathy Luo lifted the RR Class score from 17 points after the first May event to 27 points last Thursday.

Bob Byrne, Sebastian Jimenez, Amer Kassas and Michael Patterson won the RRR Class competition, however, the 27 points were not enough to beat Team ZEUS' posted 28-pointer of the previous event. Both lineups also performed the A Class sequence.

The Flashpoint rear piece (Jim Prochaska, Jairo Garcia) improved their own 21-pointer together with substitutes Kurt Gaebel and Sebastian Jimenez and added two points to iFLY Orlando's May account.

Rookie Class team in the works: Brad Weinberg (right), Nicolas Davis (2nd left)
Two new 2015 participants (Brad Weinberg, Michael Rendon) took on the three Rookie Class sequences with first-timer Nicolas Davis and player coach Kurt Gaebel.

Brad Weinberg said that he and Nicolas Davis are making plans for a new 4-way team in DeLand.

iFLY Orlando currently owns or ties three of the six Indoor Cloud League highscores for May.

However, the Hurricane Factory still easily maintains the top spot on the ICL leaderboard, with a very strong foundation set by the Bad Boys for the AAA and AA Class sequences.

There is still almost a whole week left to turn in videos and scores for May and improve the currently posted scoring numbers.
