Did You Know...

... that the research of the "4-way Elite Indoor Club" has begun?

23-pointer level: Pas Op in 2015
posted Jun 19th, 2015 - The Sun Path Products NSL News has kept track of the 4-way outdoor scores for a long time, and the "4-way Elite Club" of teams with the highest scores in the history of the sport has been a topic for several years, as well.

The recent update, which welcomed Canada's bronze medalist at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014, Evolution, to the club on June 14th, initiated inquiries from the valued SKYLEAGUE.COM audience to research the indoor situation, as well.

It was an open door, as 4-way indoor competition has become a crucial part of the sport and of the Sun Path Products NSL News coverage, as well. The reseach began with 10-round indoor meet averages and continued with the same topic as for 4-way outdoor competition, the search for the slowest sequences with the highest scores for all rounds in a 10-round meet.

4-way Indoor Average

Which team scored the highest 10-round indoor average in history?

NMP-PCH Hayabusa
Arizona Airsped
Evolution
France Aerokart
23-pointer level: Thunder ISR in 2012
The research for teams in the "4-way Elite Indoor Club" began one step higher compared to where the outdoor results are currently standing. Three teams, the French national team of 2011, Arizona Airspeed's 2012 lineup and NMP-PCH Hayabusa, all posted 22-pointers and higher at 10-round outdoor meets, as the same update explained.

The Sun Path Products NSL News was now looking for teams who finished 10-round indoor meets with only 23-pointers or higher per round.

Ten teams have mastered this challenge so far, with a few overlapping lineups. The French national team had two different lineups between 2010 and 2012, who both scored 23-pointers and higher at different events. The same counts for Arizona Airspeed between 2011 and 2015, as well as for NMP-PCH Hayabusa.

23-pointer level: Gavroches in 2011
Two more French teams are also in the "4-way Elite Indoor Club" with only 23-pointers and higher: Gavroches at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2011 and pickup team Pas Op at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2015.

Thunder ISR and SDC Rhythm XP are the last two of the ten club members, Thunder on the 23-pointer level, Rhythm one level higher with only 24-pointers and higher in Singapore 2012. JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz had Chris Farina and Uli Steuwe in their lineup for only this event.

All other scores of only 24-pointers and higher at 10-round meets were posted by NMP-PCH Hayabusa, Arizona Airspeed, Evolution and the French national 4-way Open Class team. The Sun Path Products NSL News will soon follow up with the answer to the new poll question and then more details of the "4-way Elite Indoor Club".
