Did You Know...

... that SDC Rhythm XP and Evolution are on the 24-pointer level of the "4-way Indoor Elite Club"?

posted Jun 23rd, 2015 - The most likely answer to the last poll question was also the correct one: NMP-PCH Hayabusa has posted the highest indoor meet average in history. The next question would be where and when the Belgian 4-way world champions finished a 10-round indoor competition with the record average, and the Sun Path Products NSL News will answer this question very soon.

The story on June 19th introduced the teams on the first level of the new "4-way Indoor Elite Club", with only 23-pointers and higher at a 10-round indoor competition. Pas Op, Thunder ISR and Gavroches were the first three teams with club memberships.

Unique lineup in Singapore 2012: SDC Rhythm XP
SDC Rhythm XP and Evolution are the two teams on the next level with only 24-pointers and higher at a 10-round competition.

The three 23-pointer teams completed their special performances at the same location, Aerokart in Paris, France, in 2011, 2012 and 2015. SDC Rhythm XP and Evolution were actually at the same place at the same time when they scored only 24-pointers and higher, at iFLY Singapore in December 2012.

It was officially an 11-round competition, and SDC Rhythm XP missed the 25-pointer level by one round. The unique Rhythm lineup for this event, with former Perris Fury member Uli Stuwe in the Tail slot, had only one 24-pointer in Round 5 (K,16,18).

Chris Farina and Thiago Gomes left Rhythm at the end of the 2012 season and signed up for the new Arizona Airspeed lineup. JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz continued with Christy Frikken and Mikhail Markine after the indoor competition in Singapore.

Evolution's first competition with the 2013/2014 lineup
Evolution had a different lineup in Singapore, as well. The complete Lemay family (father Michel with his three sons Martin, Vincent and Benoit) had finished with a 23.6 outdoor average in 4th place at the Mondial Dubai 2012.

Michel Lemay then traveled back to Canada, while the three brothers competed with new Point Katie Woods in Singapore just a week later.

It was obviously a good start for Katie Woods and the new lineup. The 29.6 average in Singapore is still standing as the team's record number for a 10-round indoor competition.

The same lineup followed up with the entry into the "4-way Outdoor Elite Club", as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on June 14th.

The Evolution numbers at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 are still the last and most recent 20-pointer performance of any team in the world at a 10-round outdoor meet...
