Did You Know...

... that Steve Lefkowitz scored for iFLY Seattle's Indoor Cloud League team?

Jim Stark - Andrew Marenich - Daniel Larson - Bill Selig
posted Jun 30th, 2015 - The end of the month increases once again the coverage of the Indoor Cloud League activities. Yesterday's Sun Path Products NSL News update reported that SkyVenture Montreal took away the top position from the Hurricane Factory by four points.

Earlier last week, and shortly after the June meet of the Northwest Skydiving League, iFLY Seattle had added the scores and videos for the six indoor categories to the ICL leaderboard for June. iFLY Seattle finished with a total of 114 points and is currently in 4th place.

NWSL Director Deb Correia said that her iFLY Seattle team had scheduled one main event in June, and the slots were highly demanded: "The event was posted late at night, and first thing in the morning it was already full! Unfortunately, three people had to cancel close to the event, so we ended up with only three groups flying."

One of the three lineups (Randy Barbee, Nancy McFadden, Steve Platt, with player coach Deb Correia) took care of the A Class and RRR Class sequences, while the two other teams each added one score to the ICL leaderboard.

Daniel Larson, Jim Stark, with player coaches Andrew Marenich and Bill Selig posted the 14-pointer for the R Class sequence. Agata Staniak, Nat Mote, John Brown and player coach Djordje Mandaric added the 19 points in the RR Class.

R Class competitors Jim Stark attended his first Indoor Cloud League event, and Daniel Larson came for the second time. RR Class flyer Agata Staniak returned after months off and joined John Brown and Nat Mote, who have been attending regularly the past few months. Their player coach Djordje Mandaric served his first time as a solo coach and guided his lineup to iFLY Seattle's internal highscore in this category.

Randy Barbee - Nancy McFadden - Steve Platt - Deb Correia
Deb Correia said that her A Class lineup used the June opportunity to drill Block 6 (Stardian - Stardian): "Randy Barbee, Nancy McFadden and Steve Platt turned in the highscores for A and RRR, and they really learned a lot while flying several sessions with Block 6."

iFLY Seattle also had prominent visitors last month. NWSL team JOES had invited SDC Rhythm XP members Steve and JaNette Lefkowitz for a training camp that included the team and some of the regular NWSL coaches.

The participants took advantage of the opportunity and turned in the scores for the AA and AAA sequences with player coach Steve Lefkowitz in the lineups. Deb Correia, Andrew Gaiovyi and Jeff Smith performed the AA Class sequence with the original Rhythm member. David Zhang replaced Andrew Gaiovyi for the AAA Class sequence. Deb Correia said that her coaches appreciated the Rhythm coaching style and took away some great tidbits to share with the iFLY Seattle team.
