Did You Know...

... that M4trix won the Dutch 4-way gold medals last week?

On to the World Cup: M4trix
posted Aug 23rd, 2015 - The Dutch Nationals 2015 were completed after ten rounds on the island of Texel last week, while the 70 British 4-way teams are trying to complete their own national championships in Hibaldstow.

There were no surprises in the Netherlands. The 4-way experts of the Dutch 8-way team M8trix (Jaap Keuter, Leon van Leeuwen, Leander van Schriek, Mechie Voermans, with Kjeld van Druten on camera) won easily with the team's best outdoor average of 15.5 after ten rounds. The Sun Path Products NSL News had posted a preview of the Dutch Nationals 2015 and the World Cup on August 9th.

There was not much competition for the previous national 4-way team, Cool Runnings, and the defending M4trix champions who had won the 4-way title in 2014 with the same lineup, as they were the only AAA Class teams in Texel last week. They will now both compete for the Netherlands at the upcoming FAI World Cup 2015 in Teuge.

4igami was the only Dutch team in the AA Class last week, while three teams competed in the A Class. The Dutch teams could not synchronize their competition draw with the British teams for a more challenging indirect competition, as the 4-way meet in the Netherlands had an earlier start.

Blok 43 came back after the team's first competition at this year's Tomscat Trophy and won the national championships in the A Class with a significantly improved scoring level. Blok 43 actually tied 4igami's 11-pointer in Round 1 for the identical sequence and might have even been able to keep up with the AA Class team.

Silver medalist 4midable also continued with the scoring progression (5.0 - 6.1 - 8.2) in the team's second year.
