Obstacles: Weather delays and air control breaks
posted Sep 9th, 2015 - Everything is on schedule at the FAI World Cup 2015. It is in fact quite impressive how the host calmly deals with all obstacles that he has to deal with.

The weather has not been cooperating perfectly at all. Rain, clouds and morning fog caused delays and interruptions, while the restricted air space near Amsterdam's international airport in Schiphol requires very close cooperation and coordination with the control tower of the very highly frequented airport.

The management of the Paracentrum Teuge is simply used to work closely together with the commercial air traffic control on a regular basis, and they master the challenging logistics without any trouble. The available flight times are being used very efficiently, and two days after the opening ceremony most of the events are at half-time.

The Sun Path Products NSL News completed the DZ tour with a visit at the lunch and dinner place in Tent City. One of the tents serves as the kitchen for the local chefs, and they allowed the NSL-TV camera a view of the cooking area.

The last NSL Talk conversation of the day took place with NMP-PCH Hayabusa members, who were ready for dinner at the end of the day. Jeroen "Bob" Nollet and Dennis Praet had a few comments for the audience, while David Grauwels discussed a party project with his German AtomiX friend Peter Ingenhaag.

Dennis Praet confirmed that the French Girls keep their eyes mainly on the Open Class leaderboard. His girlfriend Clementine LeBohec is the Point for the French Girls. They have the 4-way slot in common, and they own the first places in both categories with their teams...
