Did You Know...

... that a new Florida Indoor Cloud League competitor has 4-way blood in the family?

NCSL group at iFLY SF Bay last Thursday
posted Sep 19th, 2015 - Lori Connor's group of Northern California Skydiving League competitors and tunnel flyers was the first one this month to submit scores and videos for the September sequences of the Indoor Cloud League competition at iFLY SF Bay.

Her ICL team is only 54 points behind iFLY Orlando for the whole year (1005 - 951), and there are still four months to go, including September. She added a total of 97 points to the iFLY SF Bay account for September last Thursday.

It was coincidence that the Florida group had scheduled the first ICL September event for the same day at iFLY Orlando, and both groups finished the same tunnel night with a 2-point difference to the advantage of iFLY SF Bay.

iFLY Orlando had the advantage in the three categories with blocks in the sequences (55 - 48), while iFLY SF Bay had the better total for the three Rookie Class categories (49 - 40) and won by two points for all six sequences.

Three DeLand Momentum members (Andrea Greening, James Hall, Hal Spence) had Sebastian Jimenez in their ICL lineup for the AAA and AA sequences and benefitted from a few infringements and point deductions of the AAA/AA lineup at iFLY SF Bay. DeLand Flashpoint had the complete lineup together at iFLY Orlando last Thursday and posted the 25-pointer for the A Class sequence after two point deductions.

DeLand Momentum has their Point Mariuschka Lovera back in the lineup this weekend, when they are trying to post outdoor scores at the Florida Skydiving League September meet.

Flashpoint member Alix Raymond also added the 10-pointer for the RRR Class sequence to the total score, with Cathy Luo, Bob Palatka and Siddharth Choudhury in her lineup.

Three new Rookie Class competitors (Kaily Uragallo, Chelsey Hylton, Onix Rivera) posted their first 4-way scores for the other two sequences. They worked on some basic individual and 4-way skills earlier on Thursday night before making their first 4-way experiences with the ICL Rookie Class sequences. Onix Rivera helped to outscore the iFLY SF Bay lineup in the RR Class at his first 4-way event.

Kaily Uragallo has 4-way experience and history in her family. Her father Tony Uragallo was one of the 4-way explorers and a world class competitor with the British national teams in the late 70s and early 80s. Later he started the Tony Suits business in Z-Hills, and his daughter Kaily is working in the family business now. She also seems to pick up the family's 4-way talent...
