Did You Know...

... that that the Golden Knights are challenging NMP-PCH Hayabusa?

Impressive: Golden Knights in Prague
posted Oct 23rd, 2015 - Seven rounds have been completed at the 1st FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championships, and only the competition in 4-way VFS has a battle for the top position.

NMP-PCH Hayabusa is far ahead of all other top teams in 4-way Open, where Black Cat confirms the 2nd place in the world rankings after silver medals at the FAI World Cup 2015. Of course, the world rankings don't count much without the US national team competing, Arizona Airspeed.

However, there is a US team in Prague, and the Golden Knights are not only as far ahead of all other 4-way Women teams as Hayabusa leads in the Open Class. The Golden Knights are actually in 2nd place on the mixed SKYLEAGUE leaderboard. In fact, the Golden Knights have created more distance to the team in 2nd place on the Open Class leaderboard (17) than Hayabusa is ahead of the US Army team (11). On top of that, the Golden Knights posted the highscore of all 4-way teams in Round 6, including the reigning 4-way world champions from Belgium.

Confirming world's 2nd place: Black Cat
It's a psychologically very challenging situation for the French Girls with their new lineup, who are 34 points behind the Golden Knights after Round 7.

It is not a surprise that the Golden Knights are ahead of the reigning French world champions in 4-way Women. The French lineup has changed a few times after the last gold medals in Prostejov 2014, and the new team with Outside Center Pamela Lissajoux just started their training recently.

However, the distance to the Golden Knights must still be frightening, as there is only one year left to catch up, and the Golden Knights make impressive steps with coach Solly Williams in their 5th year with the same lineup. French coach Mathieu Bernier and the French Girls have some work cut out for them...

Defending 10th place: Jazz Republic
There is another very competitive part in the works in Prague. One more round is left until the first cut for the semifinals. The teams in 4-way Women don't have to worry about making it to Round 9, as the Top 10 qualify. The first six places in this event seem to be in solid possession, as well.

This is different in the 4-way Open Class competition, where Jazz Republic from South Africa has to defend the 10th place. The VAF Warriors are gaining momentum after a slow start and are in striking distance, with the Sky Dragons only one point behind.

Gryttjom Volo and Bad Boys are holding 5th and 6th place in the battle for the slots in the finals. Voodoo and Dubai Asaar Black have two more rounds to challenge the teams for the 6th place before they will be eliminated after Round 9.
