Did You Know...

... that iFLY Orlando added 23 points to the Indoor Cloud League October account?

Florida's ICL team at iFLY Orlando last Thursday
posted Oct 24th, 2015 - The 1st FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championships was a quick and short affair. The ten rounds in all traditional 4-way events were completed in less than two days.

The Indoor Cloud League competitors in Florida came together the second time this month at iFLY Orlando before the indoor world meet in Prague began on Saturday, which will be followed by the USPA Nationals 2015 beginning on Monday.

Florida's ICL group had started the October competition with 103 points and added 23 points to the account last Thursday. The new total of 126 points is the highest score for iFLY Orlando since June, and it seems to be a competitive number for the month of October before the other ICL teams present their scores and videos.

The AAA/AA Class lineup and two very young and new ICL competitors can take the credit for the additional ICL scoring points. Hal Spence, recent 202-way world record participant and DeLand Momentum 4-way competitor, was back from his trip to California and competed in both lineups last Thursday.

His DeLand Momentum team mate James Hall was in the tail slot, while Sebastian Jimenez, former A Class competitor with Zunday, was Hal Spence's front piece partner for the AAA/AA sequences. Kurt Gaebel had the inside center slot in the rear piece with his Team Kaputt tail James Hall.

Hal Spence and James Hall will both compete at the USPA Nationals 2015 with DeLand Momentum, while Kurt Gaebel is in Arizona for the Sun Path Products NSL News coverage of the same event.

The AAA/AA lineup added a total of 15 points to the iFLY Orlando account, while Hal Spence was also guiding a Rookie Class team to the 15-pointer for the R Class sequence and added eight more points to the October total.

The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on September 19th that Kaily Uragallo had joined the same 4-way world where her father Tony was home on world class level in his 4-way days. She did not make it onto the ICL leaderboard with the lineup at her first FSL Tunnel Kicker. She was back last Thursday and posted the 15-pointer, together with Bryan Shelley, who attended his second event, as well.

Jimmy Xu, current DeLand 3D member, was helping Hal Spence to guide this Rookie Class team to the R Class highscore. Jimmy Xu also competed with ZEUS members Amer Kassas and Mark Messersmith, plus Sebastian Jimenez, in three different categories last Thursday and tied iFLY Orlando's 17-pointer for the A Class sequence. Hal Spence and James Hall will now post their first scores at the USPA Nationals 2015 on Monday morning...
