Did You Know...

... that the 8-way competition at the Clash of Champions is the first real indoor world meet?

Ready for show time: Inflight Dubai
posted Nov 25th, 2015 - The 4-way competition has the largest field of teams and promises very exciting competition in all three categories at the Clash of Champions.

This still does not mean that the smaller 8-way competition does not have much to offer.

In fact, the 8-way event at Inflight Dubai is the first indoor world meet with international participation from seven different countries.

The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship has been the only indoor competition so far that included an 8-way meet, and teams from France have attended several times.

This week's indoor competition in Dubai is different and resembles a real world meet situation.

Ready for Clash of Champions: Golden Knights at the USPA Nationals 2015
The three medal winners at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 (USA - Russia - France) have their new best lineups at the Clash of Champions.

France and Russia (Tanay) competed with these new lineups at the FAI World Cup 2015 and took gold and silver.

The Golden Knights could not attend the meet and now have the first opportunity to meet the new French 8-way team in Dubai.

The same three teams who will most likely win the medals and cash at the Clash of Champions will fight it out for the FAI/IPC outdoor medals next year at Skydive Chicago.

The Thund8rbirds will finally show the skydiving world that Belgium has a world-class 8-way team, as well. NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Thunder ISR will be trained and ready to challenge the three top spots.

Not back yet to the 2014 level: Monaco Vitalsea at the 5th DIPC 2014
Dubai Asaar, Monaco Vitalsea and Qatar Falcons had their own battle at the 5th Dubai International Parachuting Championship 2014.

The same three teams might be much closer to each other than they were at the end of last year, as the Qatar Falcons have posted significantly higher meet averages this year.

Dubai Asaar has a new 8-way lineup, and Monaco Vitalsea has not been back yet this year to the same scoring level as in December 2014.

The 8-way competition seems to be full of potential for exciting battles, as well.

The new NSL Reality TV clip was recorded on Wednesday morning when Thunder ISR and A Class team Alate began the last training day before sunrise.
