Did You Know...

... that the audience will probably witness a historic 4-way competition at the Clash of Champions?

Opening ceremony and competition draw at the Clash of Champions
posted Nov 25th, 2015 - The 2-minute flying time that each 4-way and 8-way team at the Clash of Champions had available today to make sure that they have the correct and team specific air speed for the ten competition rounds was showing clearly what to expect tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.

The event will become a historic 4-way competition, which is not only related to the competition draw and probably high meet averages. The quality of the flying and competition performance promises to be something that the skydiving world may have never seen before.

The Sun Path Products NSL News mentioned earlier that the field of 4-way and 8-way teams would be the best of the best in the world.

The performances of the teams in the flying chamber today easily lived up to the quality of the field, as the new videos of teams in 4-way action are clearly showing.

The competition draw supports the expected high quality level at the same time. It does not happen too often that a 10-round competition draw does not include a 3-block sequence, which usually limits the meet average to a certain extent.

The 10-round draw at Inflight Dubai includes one 3-block sequence in Round 3 (9,21,19) which will still not cause much of a slowing down for the 4-way teams, with the fast Block 9 at the beginning of the sequence.

Five of the ten rounds have a random formation at the beginning, which also supports the scoring level.

Five rounds are also causing slot switchers, however, the well trained mental skills of the top teams and regular B-slot training help to not slowing down the pace too much any longer.

The audience has the opportunity to follow a historic event with a potentially unseen performance level. It is very possible that it will take a 26-average level to make the Top 10 in Dubai. Round 1 is scheduled for 9 AM on Thursday morning.
