... that NFTO tries to defend the 4-way Women title of the Wind Games with a new lineup?

Defending Wind Games champion: NFTO
posted Jan 16th, 2016 - The preview of the Wind Games 2016 continues with a closer look at the field of teams in 4-way Women.

Yesterday's update included some topics of this category, as there is an overlapping area. The Clash of Champions 2015 had only one AAA Class leaderboard where teams with competitors of all genders and ages posted their results together, and the topics were naturally connected.

The Sun Path Products NSL News will once again create a combined leaderboard for journalistic purposes later on; however, the Wind Games will have the all-female lineups separated from teams with only male competitors and mixed lineups, including the Golden Knights, who finished in 4th place of the AAA Class competition at the Clash of Champions.

More consistent lineup: Dubai Asaar Ladies
The same story mentioned that the French FLY-IN Girls don't have their complete lineup available, and three members compete in two different teams (Mixed Parasport, Simetra). The French lineup in 4-way Women (Wom'in France) includes Anais Maillet, a former member of the French national 8-way team in 2014 and the French Girls in 2015.

The Dubai Asaar Ladies will be back with the same lineup that competed at the Clash of Champions, and coach Alena Chistova seems to have eventually more consistency with the all-female lineup after a few years with several personnel changes.

Great Britain's national team in 4-way Women, NFTO, had missed the Clash of Champions but attended the World Air Games 2015 in Dubai. NFTO finished in 4th place and now go back to Spain where they won last year's 3-team competition in the same category.

Back in action: Perrine Sanchez (2nd from left)
NFTO will not be able to win this year, as the Golden Knights are too far away from all other teams in 4-way Women. The British team will compete with a different lineup, as Rai Ahmed is not going to Spain. Voodoo member Vana Parker is taking her slot. Voodoo attended the Wind Games last year and has not signed up for next week's event, which made it possible for Vana Parker to join NFTO.

The German Jujariwa lineup includes former AtomiX member Janina Jungen.

Besides the three French FLY-IN Girls and Perrine Sanchez, the 4-way Open Class field includes four additional female 4-way competitors in mixed lineups: Katie Woods (Weembi Lille), Julia Swallow (Satori XL), Kristiina Kasemets (Lupus) and Claire King (Jazz Republic).
