Did You Know...

... that DeLand Momentum's new lineup posted the first Indoor Cloud League scores for iFLY Orlando?

DeLand Momentum at the USPA Nationals 2015
posted Jan 26th, 2016 - Florida's Indoor Cloud League team added the first scores for the month of January 2016 to the leaderboard.

DeLand Momentum's new lineup had an indoor training camp at iFLY Orlando last week and included three of the January sequences in the training program. The scores for the AA and A Class sequences matched the first numbers from iFLY Virginia Beach, where Suffolk Sabotage also performed three of the sequences.

DeLand Momentum prepares once again for a competition season in the AAA Class and used the A Class sequence for a warm-up session at the beginning of the training. The AA Class sequence (J-9-15), which could also be drawn in a AAA Class competition, was the next step before the team continued with practice of other block techniques.

DeLand Momentum trained and competed with a different lineup last year and finished in 8th place of the Advanced Class at the USPA Nationals 2015, posting the team's highest 2015 average (9.6) in Eloy. The team had no plans beyond the national championships, and the members made new and separate ones for the 2016 season.

Andrea Greening and James Hall have joined player coach Gilles Dutrisac for a new team project in DeLand, and they are still recruiting the 4th team member.

Mariuschka Lovera and Hal Spence also continue, and they have started the 2016 training of DeLand Momentum with their new lineup. Leigh Estabrook and Randy Cutlip have joined the team with the beginning of the new year.

All DeLand Momentum members know each other well after training and competing together for the DeLand Rexcel 8-way team last year. Mariuschka Lovera and Hal Spence then had double duties in 4-way and 8-way at the USPA Nationals, where Andrea Greening and James Hall competed only in 4-way.

DeLand Rexcel finished in 4th place of 11 teams in USPA's 8-way Intermediate Class, three points behind the bronze medal position with a 6.5 average.

Mariuschka Lovera, Leigh Estabrook, Hal Spence and Randy Cutlip also know each other from several Indoor Cloud League events at iFLY Orlando. They now the posted the first ICL scores for Florida before iFLY Orlando's complete ICL team will take on all sequences this Thursday.
