Did You Know...

... that there was a direct connection between Indoor Cloud League and Paraclete XP Indoor Championship?

Spectator in Raeford: ICL competitor Amer Kassas last week at iFLY Orlando
posted Mar 7th, 2016 - The aftermath of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2016 will begin very soon, including the competition videos of all teams.

The short delay is caused by the first results of the Indoor Cloud League March competition.

iFLY Orlando hosted the first event of the Florida group on March 2nd and generated early scores and videos for this month.

In fact, the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship was indirectly connected with the Indoor Cloud League activities at iFLY Orlando, as several ICL competitors traveled once again from Florida to Raeford and attended the 10-round indoor competition.

Mortal Enemies (Alix Raymond, Steve Hubbard, Jim Prochaska, Jimmy Xu) consisted of four ICL competitors who have competed in many different lineups for iFLY Orlando.

There is even a direct line between the new ICL videos and the Paraclete competition, as Jimmy Xu was in the lineup that performed three of the six ICL March sequences in Orlando before traveling to Raeford last week.

His rear piece partner of last week in Orlando, Kurt Gaebel, and Point Yvonne Saa were actually the reigning AA Class champions of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2015. The ten rounds last year were the last indoor flying for Yvonne Saa before she joined the AAA - AA - A Class lineup last week at iFLY Orlando.

ZeuS member Amer Kassas was in the RRR - RR - R Class lineup last week. He did not compete in Raeford, however, he visited as a passionate 4-way fan and watched the competition carefully.

Amer Kassas was not the only spectator in Raeford. Leslie Money, regular at the ICL events at iFLY Orlando became a Blocksmiths XP 8-way member last year and had to sit on the bench due to an injury. Jimmy Xu's new 4-way team mate of 2016, Rebecca
Maureen, is also a Blocksmiths XP member and won the 8-way Intermediate Class gold medals in Raeford last weekend.

The first ICL event of the month at iFLY Orlando is primarily dedicated to skills training for teams and individuals. However, last week's participants used the opportunity to form two lineups and try the new March sequences. Amer Kassas, Lee Perera, Noel Damouni took on the three Rookie Class sequences (RRR - RR - R) with player coach Bob Byrne. Yvonne Saa, Jimmy Xu, Sebastian Jimenez and Kurt Gaebel took on the AAA - AA - A sequences.

The ICL rules allow the same lineup to post only two scores in two neighboring categories, and the iFLY Orlando team had to drop two of the six scores. A new team will follow up this week...
