posted Mar 11th, 2016 - There is always room for a Deep Blue update, and the Sun Path Products NSL News now follows up on yesterday's coverage of the Aerokart Boot Comp 2016.

This year's team name is Aerokart Deep Blue Mothers. It is no news for the Sun Path Products NSL News audience that the 2010 world champions in 4-way Women have consistently worked on growing the Deep Blue family. The last story on August 12th, 2015, introduced the four original members as mothers.

Last weekend's lineup was not the original one though. Inside Center Berangere Duplouy was not available, and Deep Blue had to find an adequate substitute, who would fit to the job description and the team name. There was a perfect solution.

Perrine Sanchez was the Inside Center of the Deep Blue Defenders who lived up to their team name at the Mondial Dubai 2012. Amelie Tirman was the only returning original member in 2012 until Sophie Boulogne needed to help out when Laurence Herve broke her ankle a few months before the World Meet.

The Deep Blue Defenders won the gold medals over the Golden Knights in 2012 and changed their lineup again. Perrine Sanchez now had to defend her own gold medal in Prostejov 2014, together with Laurence Herve and two new French Girls: Sophia Pecout and Christine Malnis.

The Golden Knights were the same challenger with the same lineup in Prostejov, however, Perrine Sanchez won her second gold medal.

It is quite obvious that Perrine Sanchez was the perfect fit for the open Inside Center slot last weekend. However, she still had to fit to the team name, as well, and she does.

As with the other original Deep Blue members, it did not take too long after winning her second gold medal until Perrine Sanchez became a mother, as well.

She became pregnant at the beginning of the following year (2015) and added her own member to the new Deep Blue generation.

She did not even know that she was pregnant when she competed with Pas Op (Julien Degen, Roy Janssen, Dennis Praet, Perrine Sanchez) at the at the Aerokart Indoor Challenge 2015.

She took a break until son Robin was born in September 2015.

Then she had her comeback with Simetra at the Wind Games 2016 and now followed up at the Aerokart Boot Comp with Deep Blue.

It is nothing unusual for Deep Blue to carry the next generation inside while competing.

The story on January 11th, 2011, explained that Deep Blue had competed with a 6-way team at the DIPC 2011.

Amelie Tirman now informed the Sun Path Products NSL News that she was proudly competing with her second baby last weekend, in her 6th month of pregnancy.

She was also coaching the Aerokart Ak'demie delegation of 4-way juniors at the same time. The Sun Path Products NSL News will follow up with more information from France.
