Did You Know...

... that Canadian teams have a history at the World Challenge?

Evolution at the World Challenge 2013
posted Mar 31st, 2016 - Not only the Canadian national team in 4-way Women, Parachute Montreal Fuzion, connects the recently completed Canadian Indoor Nationals with the World Challenge 2016.

Fuzion have completed the transition from their home tunnel in Montreal to the 16-foot chamber in Bedford and fly their first training sessions later today. The new NSL-TV video from Canada shows the team in action with the eight rounds of the national indoor championships.

Evolution, Canada's national team in the 4-way Open Class has made the trip to Bedford only once. The 2013 lineup, with Katie Woods in the point slot, finished 2nd behind NMP PCH Hayabusa and posted a 28.8 average. The same lineup then won the bronze medals at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014.

4astrophe at the World Challenge 2014
The team in 3rd place on the Canadian AAA Class leaderboard, 4astrophe, has visited Bedford, as well. The complete Bisson family (father Richard, son Yannick, daughter Valerie) competed at the World Challenge 2014 and placed 4th in the AA Class with a 16.5 average.

Marie-Eve Dallaire was the 4th 4astrophe member in Bedford 2014. She and Valerie Bisson are now coming back to Bedford where

they will compete with Parachute Montreal Fuzion and try to win the 4-way Women competition.

Valerie Bisson's brother Yannick and father Richard moved up into the AAA Class when they continued with a new lineup. Katie Woods helped the team to learn the complete dive pool. The new 4astrophe lineup posted a 20.5 average in the AAA Class earlier this month. Yannick Bisson is probably on the Evolution list of candidates for future lineups. He is only a few years away from jump planes and exits...
