Did You Know...

... that there was a lot of movement in the Indoor Cloud League 2016 rankings?

New Bad Boys lineup
posted May 8th, 2016 - The April leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League is finally complete, even though some of the videos are still missing. However, it is once again a new record leaderboard in the ICL history, with scores and videos from eleven different locations and teams.

The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on May 3rd how UK top team 4mula left all other AAA Class teams in the dust after a world class performance at Bodyflight Bedford. Of course, 4mula made it into the ICL BEST OF APRIL video.

The new Bad Boys lineup shared the highscore for the AA Class sequence with iFLY Houston's team (Katrina Shows, Devon Shows, Janus Hyder, Jorge Alvarez). The HF Junior Cubs were the strongest point-getter for the Hurricane Factory last month. The three young ladies with one young man posted the sole highscore for the A Class sequence and shared the RRR Class highscore with SkyVenture Montreal.

1-on-1 training pays back: Lee Perera (left)
The Canadian lineup for the RRR Class sequence included another 4-way junior, Yannick Bisson, who was not competing together with his father Richard Bisson and 4astrophe this time. He had two Slim Jim members (Normand Favreau, Stéphane Hervieux) and Nathalie Metivier, a former Tonix member, in his April lineup. This internal ICL junior competition between the HF Junior Cubs and Yannick Bisson ended up with a tie.

iFLY Orlando claimed only one highscore in April for the tied highest total of the month. It was the third and last attempt by iFLY Orlando in April when Lee Perera, Amer Kassas, with player coaches Bob Byrne and Hal Spence posted the 37-pointer for the RR Class sequence. Lee Perera's ongoing 1-on-1 training since September last year has paid back, and he has one more shot in the RR Class before he has to move up into the RRR category.

April co-winner iFLY Houston had the strongest beginners in the sport last month. Player coach Scott Latinis guided family team Tetralogy (Emma and Don Ellisor, Randy Morgan) to the highscore for the R Class sequence.

Still in 5th place: iFLY Seattle
iFLY Houston's top performance in April had an impact on the ICL 2016 rankings, as well. The iFLY Houston moved up from 6th to 4th place passing iFLY Seattle and iFLY Dallas on the way. iFLY Dallas' missing AAA Class score also allowed iFLY Seattle to defend the 5th place successfully.

iFLY Orlando finally re-captured the 2nd place position of 2015 behind the Hurricane Factory with the highest April total. iFLY SF Bay had the 2nd place

throughout the first three months of the ICL 2016 season, which is now back in Florida possession.

Brian Tohey also had a strong comeback for SkyVenture New Hampshire after missing the March competition. The full set of six scores and videos was rewarded with one ranking step up. iFLY Portland's new ICL team is only two points behind iFLY Virginia Beach at the conclusion of the April competition.
