Did You Know...

... that Z-Hills PreciZion's scores last weekend are misleading?

Z-Hills PreciZion members at an ICL 2013 event
posted Jun 20th, 2016 - The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on March 27th how Z-Hills PreciZion from Skydive City in Florida helped iFLY Orlando's Indoor Cloud League team to add some points to the March account.

PreciZion's Tail Jimmy Xu also attended a few additional ICL events at iFLY Orlando and scored several times with other lineups.

Three of his team mates (Erica Gorski, Rebecca Maureen Ugo, Grant Underland) used to be regulars at iFLY Orlando's ICL events, as well, before they formed Z-Hills PreciZion, hired Sally Hathaway as a player coach and focused primarily on their team training.

Grant Underland, who formerly trained and competed with Z-Hills TranZend as the team's Outside Center, has moved to the camera slot this year, and player coach Sally Hathaway has taken his slot.

He is still working on his exit techniques and missed several scoring formations at last weekend's June meet of the Florida Skydiving League.

Z-Hills TranZend at the NSL Championship 2014
Four teams competed in Florida, while four additional teams attended the June meet of the Virginia Parachute Council. The Sun Path Products NSL News will soon follow up with the scores and information from Virginia.

Erica Gorski, Rebecca Maureen Ugo and Grant Underland trained and competed together for two years with Z-Hills TranZend. Sally Hathaway, 4-way world champion of 2001 in 4-way Women, was coaching the team on their home turf at Skydive City.

TranZend then competed at the USPA Nationals 2015 and finished in 13th place with a 10.0 average. Gregg Flowers did not continue after the two years, Jimmy Xu took the open Tail slot, and coach Sally Hathaway replaced new videographer Grant Underland as the Outside Center.

Z-Hills PreciZion's 2016 lineup
Z-Hills PreciZion has the USPA Nationals 2016 as the main goal, and the potential of the team promises contention for Intermediate Class medals at the national championships.

Last weekend's scores and the 8.8 average after six rounds are misleading, as PreciZion lost several points due to the camera angle after most of the exits.

Grant Underland will soon complete the transition from Outside Center to the position behind the camera, which will bring back missing scoring points at the beginning of competition jumps. A few other point deductions will most likely disappear, as well, with the competition experiences that the Z-Hills team is collecting at the local and regional meets. Round 4 was the only jump without point deductions and video troubles after the exits. It was new member Jimmy Xu's 300th jump at the same time...
