Did You Know...

... that only one 4-way Women team has the same lineup as in Prostejov 2014?

Ready for 2nd world meet: CZ Ladies
posted Aug 19th, 2016 - The Sun Path Products NSL News now follows up with the introduction of the field in 4-way Women at the Mondial 2016, and the team situation is quite similar compared to the 4-way Open Class. There is only one team that competed with the same lineup at the previous world meet in Prostejov 2014, the Czech Ladies.

The Czech Ladies will not be involved in the race for the medals in this 4-way category, and the new mix of lineups is only affecting the previous medal winners and the new medal contenders.

The French Girls are back with two reigning world champions in 4-way Women (Christine Malnis, Sophia Pecout), while SDC Rhythm XP member JaNette Lefkowitz has replaced Angela Nichols for the Golden Knights. Kaizen is not the British national team any longer, and Canada's Fuzion lineup has Renee Point as the newest member. Infra Red Band (Russia) and Les Stunts (Belgium) have different lineups, as well.

1st world meet for No Mercy from Poland
Bellatrix compete for Australia this time, while United Arab Emirates (Dubai Asaar Ladies) and Lithuania (SolarFlakes) have not registered teams for the Mondial 2016.

Denmark, Poland and Germany did not have teams in Prostejov 2014. No Mercy is the first team from Poland competing at a World Championship of Formation Skydiving in 4-way Women. Denmark and Germany both had teams at earlier world meets and just missed the event in Prostejov 2014.

Germany's lineup is only a temporary one for the Mondial 2016, with two members of the all-female Skyfall team (Sarah Mertes, Stephanie Meyer) and two AtomiX YUU members (Andrea Kleinschmidt, Janine Tillenburg).

The Golden Knights are now in a similar situation, as JaNette Lefkowitz will fill the outside center slot only until Round 10 or 11 at Skydive Chicago. Then she will go back to her own team and get ready to challenge Arizona Airspeed at the USPA Nationals 2016.

The Sun Path Products NSL News discussed JaNette Lefkowitz' very special situation in a live conversation with her this week. She is very much enjoying her current double duties and switching back and forth between inside and outside center. She has been Rhythm's outside center for many years and switched to inside center when the new Rhythm lineup started training this year.

She has an extremely busy agenda until the Mondial 2016, as her own team has continued while she has been training with the Golden Knights and working on a new project that aims at introducing more women to skydiving. The new Rhythm lineup will have completed approx. 900 training jumps at the time of the national championships. However, the Mondial 2016 has high priority, as well, and JaNette Lefkowitz is the first current Rhythm member competing at a world championship. Former Rhythm members Chris Farina and Thiago Gomes have done it, and Mikhail Markine is still the official Airspeed alternate. None of them has won a world meet gold medal yet...
