posted Aug 23rd, 2016 - The Indoor Cloud League update on August 21st mentioned that iFLY Orlando and iFLY SFBay would be tied for the 2016 total, after Lori Connor's Northern California group beat the Florida score by nine points last week - unless the iFLY Orlando team added a few more points to the August total.

Four Florida lineups did exactly that last Thursday and took back the August lead by five points. Two of the four lineups improved the previous scores in three categories (AA - A - RR), while two highscores (RRR - R) survived the whole month after they were posted on August 4th.

The 6th score for the AAA Class sequence was posted by the August 11 team, while the same lineup was outscored by one point by Yvonne Saa, Leslie Ennergizer, James Hall and Sebastian Jimenez last Thursday. iFLY Orlando's ICL team scored higher for the three more technical sequences with different blocks (AAA - AA - A) while iFLY SFBay had the upper hand in the three Rookie Class categories (RRR - RR - R).

Cathy Luo, Lee Perera, Amer Kassas and Bob Byrne posted the 16-pointer highscore for the RRR sequence at the first ICL event of the month at iFLY Orlando. Anne Cooney, Suzette Hechst, Benjamin Turner and Sebastian Jimenez added and kept the 17-pointer for the R Class throughout the whole month.

Leslie Ennergizer, James Hall, Sebastian Jimenez and Kurt Gaebel improved the previous AAA and AA scores on August 18th, and only the 18-pointer for the AAA sequence ended up as the highscore for the month, after Leslie Ennergizer, James Hall and Sebastian Jimenez turned the AA Class 18 into a 19 last Thursday with Yvonne Saa in the lineup.

The same lineup also beat the previous A Class 19-pointer (Cathy Luo, James Hall, Amer Kassas, Bob Byrne) by four points,

Suzette Hechst and Benjamin Turner were back at the end of the month and took on their own 12-pointer highscore from August 4th, this time with Cathy Luo and Lee Perera. Result was a 9-point addition with the new 21-pointer highscore.

The same lineup also took on the RRR Class sequence and missed the standing 16-pointer by only one single point. Suzette Hechst, Benjamin Turner and Lee Perera tied the same 16-pointer with Bob Byrne in the lineup, which was not enough to make it to the August leaderboard for the 12+ wind tunnels.

The 5-point lead for August would extend iFLY Orlando's 9-point lead to 14 points for the year. However, there is still plenty of time left this month to improve the currently posted Indoor Cloud League scores...
