posted Oct 31st, 2016 - FAI Mondial and FAI Indoor World Cup kept many teams busy in September and October, at least the national teams of each participating country at the world meet, plus additional 4-way teams at the world cup.

It is not only the travel to the event site and the actual competition that require additional time and efforts. The teams and competitors are also timing their training and the last preparations according to the meet schedule each year.

The Czech Republic had only one team at the Mondial, the CZ Ladies in 4-way Women. However, the Czech delegation was one of the largest at the indoor competition at Flyspot in Poland just three weeks later. A total of five teams competed in the three Formation Skydiving events (4-way Open, 4-way Women, 4-way Junior).

The Indoor Cloud League results of the Hurricane Factory suffered in September, due to the busy schedule. However, Jan Klapka's ICL teams were back in full force in October with a total of ten teams trying to get on the leaderboard for the month.

HF Michals Chicks, with three former Hurricane Factory Chicks members in the current lineup, had not been a serious threat yet for the Bad Boys AAA/AA dominance in the Czech Republic, neither on the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard nor on the national and international leaderboards.

The situation is slowly changing and becoming more competitive. Michals Chicks were the first Czech team eventually stealing a highscore from the Bad Boys in October. The young Flying Circus lineup is also working their way up and closer to the Czech national 4-way team.

HF Junior Cubs and Flies had both competed at the FAI Indoor World Cup. The Cubs then outscored three other Czech teams for the Indoor Cloud League top score in the A Class, and the Flies added the 15-pointer for the RRR Class sequence.

The Mirek Team scored in the RR and R Class for the Czech ICL team at the Hurricane Factory.

Jan Klapka has been working with the newest generation of 4-way Juniors for a while, and HF Junior Blue have their own team page, after competing at the 10-round national indoor championships in April this year.
