Did You Know...

... that iFLY SF Bay is one single point behind iFLY Orlando at the end of November?

ICL November team at iFLY SF Bay
posted Dec 4th, 2016 - Yesterday's latest Indoor Cloud League update reported the close race for the 2nd place on the 2016 leaderboard between iFLY Seattle and iFLY Dallas. The battle on the 12+ leaderboard is even closer, and it is for the top position.

Maria Garcia-Sheets, who has taken Lori Connor's organizer position for the Indoor Cloud League events at iFLY SF Bay, brought back the same player coaches in November who have been scoring for Lori Connor's team in the past: Deanna Frank, Julius Frank, Leander van Schriek, Rob Radez.

Lori Connor has been focusing on her new ICL team at iFLY Sacramento, which joined the ICL competition in May this year, while she is still assisting Maria Garcia-Sheets with the management of the iFLY SF Bay events. She also continues as the Northern California Skydiving League director.

A Class highscore: Maria Garcia-Sheets with coach Rob Radez
The iFLY SF team went through the November sequences the opposite way compared to October, when five of the highscores were posted at the first of three ICL events at iFLY SF Bay, and only the RR Class highscore was posted at the last one on October 19th.

Maria Garcia-Sheets hosted three ICL events in November, as well, and five of the highest scores of the month came from the last NCSL Tunnel Kicker on November 16th. None of the scores of the first event on November 2nd survived the month, and only the 17-pointer for the AA sequence came from the second event on November 9th.

New ICL organizer Maria Garcia-Sheets contributed her own share with the 18-pointer for the A Class sequence, with former SDC Rhythm XP member Rob Radez as the player coach for her lineup.

The current situation on the 12+ leaderboard for the ICL 2016 season is a thriller after 11 of the 12 months. iFLY Orlando and iFLY SF Bay have been going neck to neck for a while, and it still has never been as close as it is before the last six sequences of the year.

iFLY Orlando has had the upper hand with the technical sequences (AAA - AA - A) while iFL SF Bay has very strong 4-way rookies who keep posting impressive scores and compensate for iFLY Orlando's advantage in the technical area.

The iFLY SF Bay Rookie Class lineups outscored the Florida rookies by 21 points while iFLY Orlando's AAA-AA-A lineups won only by a total of eight points, which gave iFLY SF Bay a 13-point advantage in November. The Florida lead is now down to one single point after eleven months (1338 - 1337). Exciting holidays are ahead in many ways...
