posted Dec 16th, 2016 - The four Czech 4-way teams who competed at the ISR Grand Prix 2016 in November had little over a 2-week break after their trip to Roosendaal before they were back in action.

In fact, HF Chicks, Bad Boys, HF Flying Circus and CZ Ladies all attended three indoor meets between October and December, and the 4-way junior teams were even busier. HF Junior Cubs and HF Junior Flies both competed at four meets in the same three months, and the youngest HF Junior Blue lineup also completed three meets.

The HF Junior Cubs and Flies meet agenda included the trips to Flyspot Warsaw in Poland and Indoor Skydive in the Netherlands. Their other two meets were on home turf at the Hurricane Factory in Prague, where Jan Klapka runs the monthly Sportflight meets of the European Tunnel League.

Jan Klapka himself was back in action after a long break due to the shoulder injury earlier this year, which kept the Bad Boys from competing at the FAI Mondial 2016.

The long break from training and competition with the 2016 lineup had a serious impact on the AAA Class situation in the Czech Republic, at least at the end of the 2016 season.

The Sun Path Products NSL News reported earlier that the HF Chicks are finally back together with their A lineup, after Mišo Armai helped out for a while this year.

Klára Eliášová, Hanka Uriková, Eva Vokurková and Jitka Vycpálková broke the 20+ average benchmark right away and outscored the Bad Boys for the first time after an exciting 10-round battle on Wednesday.

The situation was the same between HF Flying Circus and CZ Ladies behind the two Czech top teams. Flying Circus finished ahead of the Czech national team in 4-way Women at the team's second competition in the AAA Class, after a 2-point deficit in November.

It was the first time for Jakub Klapka to outscore his mother Jirina Klapkova, and his father Jan Klapka with the Bad Boys is probably next on the list.

It was also the first time that a team used the R Class draw at a 10-round competition. This new indoor category was introduced by the Indoor Cloud League and allows 4-way beginners to enter the competition world even earlier. HF Junior Green was the only Rookie Class team on the Czech leaderboard this week. The new Czech 4-way teams have been moving up quickly to the higher categories...
