... that Seattle Swift is the undisputed Number One in the AA Class Team World Rankings?

AA World Number One: Seattle Swift
posted Jan 28th, 2017 - The Team World Rankings of the Sun Path Products NSL News are not only featuring the best 4-way teams in the world who apply the complete FAI Open Class/AAA Class dive pool. The SKYLEAGUE.COM database allows the same rankings for all other categories, as well.

A total of 106 teams competed in the AA/Intermediate Class last year, and most of the teams apply the same dive pool with all 16 random formations, the 16 blocks without slot switchers and 4/5-point sequences.

In fact, only the Australian 4-way teams have their own rules for the intermediate class competition at their national championships, where they are mixing the NSL rules for the A Class and the AA Class dive pool. The Aussies are using only the eight A Class blocks while their sequences are as long as in the AA Class at the other meets. The smaller dive pool brings back some of the eight blocks a second time in a 10-round meet.

The easier dive pool allowed the Australian teams to score higher than all other AA Class teams, and Eminence, with former Rotor Out member Gary Nemirovsky in the lineup, won the national championships with a 17.2 average after nine rounds.

The Sun Path Products NSL News created a second Top 10 ranking without the three Australian teams who claimed their Top 10 spots with the results at their national championships.

The three additional teams from three different countries also gave the Top 10 rankings a more diversified international image.

The first leaderboard was still dominated by four U.S. teams ahead of the three teams from Australia. Two German AA Class teams and HF Flying Circus from the Czech Republic complete the "Australian" Top 10 rankings.

The U.S. AA Class teams dominate the Top 10 rankings even more without the Australians. The teams in the first two places at the USPA Nationals 2016 are also the best AA/Intermediate Class teams in the world.

Seattle Swift, who could not win USPA medals due to the eligibility rules, have their undisputed top spot in the Team World Rankings. The Northwest Skydiving League team also has more competition experience than all other Top 10 teams after attending three meets before going to the national championships.

SDC Rhemix competed at three meets to make it to the 3rd place, and the DeLoreans, with Northern California Skydiving League Director Lori Connor in the lineup, almost made it a 4-team U.S. sweep. Titten & Beer Oberhausen, one of the three German teams in the Top 10, squeezed themselves in between by a tenth of an average point...
