Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features the record number videos of January's Indoor Cloud League competition?

FAI 4-way Junior 2016 champions: Air Devils from Canada
posted Feb 6th, 2017 - The first Indoor Cloud League leaderboards of the new year are finally complete, and the January participation turned out to break all previous records.

The highest number of submitted videos so far was 52 in April 2016. It was one of the last leaderboards with all teams performing only sequences of the 12+ dive pool. The division happened at the end of August 2016, when the new 14+ leaderboard was added to the Indoor Cloud League.

55 videos were submitted for the month of January 2017, with six ICL teams on the 14+ leaderboard and four on the 12+ leaderboard. The biggest contributor was SkyVenture Montreal, host of the FAI Indoor World Meet later this year. The Canadian ICL team posted scores for all AAA/AA sequences on both leaderboards and added two Rookie Class scores (RRR - RR), as well. The three Rookie Class sequences are always identical for both leaderboards, while the AAA/AA/A sequences have two different dive pools, according to the sizes of the flying chambers.

Bisson family team 4Astrophe
NSL-TV now features the selection of all January highscores on both leaderboards. SkyVenture Montreal and Hurricane Factory have the lion's share with three highscores each. Three Czech teams (HF Chicks - AAA, Bad Boys - AA, Accord - A) joined forces to claim their three highscores, while one Canadian team did it all alone.

It was the 4-way Junior team Air Devils who posted the highest numbers for the AA/A sequences on the 12+ leaderboard and also the 19-pointer for the A Class sequence on the 14+ leaderboard.

The Air Devils record numbers are actually not so surprising, as the young Canadian 4-way competitors are the reigning FAI Indoor World Cup 2016 champions, including Yannick Bisson, who also competes with his family team 4Astrophe, and who was introduced by the Sun Path Products NSL News on 18 October 2016.

iFLY Tampa's AAA/AA lineup
Two pickup lineups were able to keep up with the trained 4-way teams. Christine Freiherr, Erica Gorski, Sebastian Jimenez and Jimmy Xu tied the 20-pointer of the HF Chicks in the AAA Class at iFLY Tampa's first FSL Tunnel Kicker.

iFLY SF Bay had a AAA Class lineup with former SDC Rhythm XP member Rob Radez and former Dutch national 4-way competitor Leander van Schriek (Whooops, M4trix, M8trix) who performed the AAA and AA Class sequences with Christina and Mike Deglau. They outscored 4Astrophe by one point on the 12+ leaderboard.

All ten ICL teams performed the same Rookie Class sequences, and the iFLY SF Bay lineup won the RRR Class in a 12+ flying chamber. iFLY Sacramento's R Class lineup did the same in their own 12+ chamber with a 33-pointer. iFLY Seattle and iFLY Dallas shared the RR Class highscore in their 14+ chambers. The new sequences for February are ready to be taken on...
