Did You Know...

... that only the Golden Knights ever scored higher than the Belgian Fly-In Machine44?

Belgian winners in 4-way: NMP PCH HayaBusa
posted Mar 26th, 2017 - The French Indoor Nationals 2017 are over, and the World Challenge 2017 is next, coming in two weeks.

The showdown between NMP PCH HayaBusa and Weembi Lille came out to the advantage of the Belgian indoor and outdoor world champions once again, and they remain undefeated with the current lineup with Jeroen "Bob" Nollet in the tail slot.

HayaBusa's world champion tail of 2014, Roy Janssen, tried once again to create the first upset with his other three French 4-way world champions of 2010 and had to accept the consistent HayaBusa power.

In fact, the French Indoor Nationals became the first event where HayaBusa did not give away one single round and finished with a 13-point winning margin.

It was the first time between the currently two best indoor 4-way teams in the world that HayaBusa finished without losing any rounds. Weembi tied the Belgians three times, and the French Weembi Girls did that in two rounds, together with RealFly-Sion in Round 9.

Weembi will try again in Bedford, where the same Top 4 teams face each other once again, and this time also with cash prizes on stake.

Belgian winners in 8-way: Fly-In Machine44
All four NMP PCH HayaBusa members were also on double duties, and the competition continued for them with additional six rounds in 8-way for the Belgian Fly-In Machine44.

The 8-way teams completed all ten rounds at Weembi; however, the competition was actually over after six rounds, as there was not enough time left for judging the remaining four rounds. Not much would have changed, as the first three places were secured by Fly-In Machine 44, Weembi Girls and Veloce's Elite lineup.

The Belgians were just as powerful in 8-way as they were in 4-way and did not give away any of the six judged round. In fact, the 42-pointer in Round 6 became the second highest score for a single round in the history of the sport. Only the Golden Knights have ever scored higher with a 43-pointer in Round 10 of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2014.

That's quite an impressive start of the Belgian 8-way project with two members (Maya Van Campenhout, Glenn Cuylaert) in their first 8-way competition. The Golden Knights better watch out for the new Belgian Fly-In Machine44...
