... that JETMAX completed the team's first AAA Class meet with the new lineup in Bedford?

In the HayaBusa wake: JETMAX from Belgium
posted Apr 19th, 2017 - Four of the 33 AAA Class teams at the World Challenge 2017 competed for the first time in this category in Bedford: HF Flying Circus (Czech Republic), JETMAX (Belgium), Equinox (Lithuania) and Nova (Sweden).

For Nova, it was also the first AAA Class meet, while the other three teams had some previous AAA Class meet experience before traveling to Bedford.

Flying Circus and Equinox had stepped up into the AAA Class at the end of the 2016 season, while JETMAX took on the complete dive pool for the first time at the Wind Games 2017.

The Sun Path Products NSL News covered the Flying Circus visit in Bedford on 15 April 2017 and spent some extra time with the Belgian team the day after the completion of the meet.

Belgian delegation in Bedford
JETMAX is one of the Belgian teams that have been created in the wake of the NMP PCH HayaBusa momentum and went through all three NSL competition classes in just a few years before taking on the complete FAI dive pool.

The update on 1 April 2017 explained the team's recent personnel change and more of the young 4-way career. Coach Maya Van Campenhout had competed with JETMAX at the first AAA Class competition at the beginning of February in Spain. The complete lineup now followed up with the next ten AAA rounds at the World Challenge.

The JETMAX members said that they have not only been following HayaBusa as their role models. Thunder ISR, with two Belgian and two Dutch members, was also available with advice and help at any time. However, HayaBusa has a serious impact on the team situation in Belgium, and the efforts to grow the 4-way community continue.

The Belgian delegation in Bedford included two Rookie Class teams (Aeropotam's, ACT One) who placed 3rd and 4th. The next generation of 4-way competitors in Belgium is on the way up the categories and leaderboards...
