Did You Know...

... that Stephanie Vaughan is back a little bit longer for Rotor Out?

Australia's 2017 champion: Rotor Out
posted Jun 2nd, 2017 - The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 3 May 2017 that Rotor Out defended Australia's national championship 4-way title successfully in March this year.

The same story explained that Rotor Out founding member Stephanie Vaughan stepped into the 2017 lineup for the nationals when Michael Strickland did not come back for the 2017 season.

The old and new Australian 4-way champion needed another substitute at the national championships when George Attard had to withdraw just a few days before the event. Fortunately, another Rotor Out founding member, Gary Nemirovski, was available on a very short notice and helped to win the 2017 title.

However, Rotor Out still needed a new team member for the point slot, as Stephanie Vaughan was not planning to continue with the team.

19.3 average at the FAI Mondial 2012: Rotor Out
The Rotor Out situation has changed in the meantime. Stephanie Vaughan decided to stay on with the team, at least for now, and joins her husband Craig Vaughan for the current 2017 lineup, with George Attard, Steve Smith and Patrick Nygren on camera.

Stephanie Vaughan was in the very first Rotor Out lineup of 2009, together with Jens Goennemann, Gary Nemirovsky, Darren Pearson and Darren Griggs on camera. This lineup took the Australian 4-way title from Airtite in 2009 (Simon Disciassio, Jeremy Langford, Gary Nemirovsky, Rob Tasic) who were the Australian national 4-way team between 2004 and 2008.

The original lineup won the title in 2009 with a new national 4-way record for a single round (27 - K,N,F,P,G) which was standing until the 2012 lineup posted a 28-pointer in Round 9 (16,F,P,Q) at the FAI Mondial Dubai 2012.

Stephanie Vaughan, Craig Vaughan, Gary Nemirovsky, George Attard and videographer Patrick Nygren posted the 28-pointer and finished with a 19.3 average, which is still the highest meet average in Australian 4-way history.

29-pointer at the Australian Nationals 2015: Rotor Out
The 28-pointer is yet not the Australian record for a single round any longer. The 2015 lineup posted a 29-pointer (L,J,N,P,9) at the national championships in January. Stephanie Vaughan, Craig Vaughan, Simon DiSciasio and Rob Thomson, with Dan Rossi on camera, set the new record number.

Stephanie Vaughan was actually not any longer in the 2014/2015 lineup. However, she helped out when George Attard was not available in January 2015 and secured her next national 4-way title and a new record number.

Rotor Out's 2016 lineup (George Attard, Steve Smith, Richard Strickland, Craig Vaughan, with Patrick Nygren on camera) won the Australian 4-way title without Stephanie Vaughan and then competed at the FAI Mondial 2016.

Now she came back to help out once again at this year's national championships and will just stay a little bit longer...
