posted Jul 31st, 2017 - The indoor events of the World Tunnel League still continue, even though the Czech teams are on a break for their outdoor season and submit scores and videos only for the Indoor Cloud League.

The 10-round draw for the month of July was performed by teams in Florida and Northern California, and the results after the meet at iFLY Tampa on July 6th were posted shortly after. Five teams had completed the ten indoor rounds in three of the four WTL categories.

A combination of indoor team Blue Steel and USPA Intermediate Class champion of 2016, Z-Hills PreciZion, was on top of the AA Class leaderboard until NCSL teams followed up with scores from iFLY Sacramento. Blue Steel members Sebastian Jimenez (Point) and Jimmy Xu (Tail) teamed up with PreciZion member Rebecca Ugo (Inside Center) and Sally Hathaway (Outside Center) who was player-coaching the Z-Hills team to the USPA gold medals last year. Jimmy Xu was a PreciZion member throughout the 2016 season, as well, and had a reunion with two of his former team mates. He is now training and competing with Fast4ward XP, after stepping up into the AAA Class.

Blue Steel, the only AAA Class team on the July leaderboard, had Jimmy Xu's new Fast4ward team mate James Hall in the lineup, as Erica Gorski was not available.

Two other AA Class teams from Florida joined the WTL July competition at iFLY Tampa, and Northern California teams added their scores at the end of the month after a 6-round meet at iFLY Sacramento.

Steel PreciZion and DeLoreans were tied after the first two rounds before the iFLY Sacramento lineup of the DeLoreans picked up the pace and won the other four rounds for a 12-point advantage after Round 6 with a 20.7 average.

Lori Connor, Jason Russell, Matt Stephens and Steven Walker are in the DeLoreans lineup that attends Indoor Cloud League and World Tunnel League events at iFLY Sacramento, while a second lineup (Don Burnette, Lori Connor, Volker Haag, Ian Pedowitz) competed last month at iFLY SF Bay. Both lineups were separated by one single point in June, and only the Sacramento DeLoreans were back in July.

Lori Connor, Rob Radez, Karl Secks, Matt Stephens and Monty Stephens (Camera) then competed for the DeLoreans at the NCSL outdoor competition on July 8.
